If your phone was lost or stolen, learn more about securing your Venmo account.
If you no longer have the phone number or email address on file with your account, try signing in from a device you’ve previously used to access Venmo. By signing in from a remembered device, You may be able to skip the security code challenge.
If you can't sign in from an old device, follow these steps to access your Venmo account:
On the login screen, enter your username, email address or old phone number along with your password
On the next screen, tap Other options to confirm your identity or I don’t have access to this phone to confirm your identity through other means
If you don’t see those options, contact our Support team to verify your identity. You'll be asked to provide the following information:
Your full name
Email address and old phone number associated with your Venmo account
If you have a bank account on file, provide the full routing number and last 4 digits of that bank account (for cards, provide the first 6 and last 4 digits).
Please do not provide the full card number or bank account number for your security.
Once you’re logged in, be sure to update your phone number to prevent further access issues.
Even if your access code is sent to a number you don't own, no one will be able to access your Venmo account or any connected profiles without your password.
If you think the person who received the code knows your password, you can reset your password.
