About me

I graduated as an Electronics Engineer from Shivaji University, Kolhapur, Maharashtra in 2015. I then moved to Gandhinagar, Gujarat to pursue my masters in Energy Science from Pandit Deendayal Energy University. I did my master's thesis in Polymer solar cells from Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, Mumbai wherein I developed deep interest in microfabrication techniques. To explore more about microfabrication, I joined as a Senior Technical Assistant at MEMS and NEMS Prototyping Facility (Now merged with IIT Bombay Nanofabrication Facility). I worked extensively on optimizing newly arrived microfabrication tools like Deep Reactive Ion etching (SAMCO), Multi target RF magnetron Sputter (AJA International), Photolithography (Karl SUSS), LPCVD (SVCS) and others. I further worked at the same facility in design and characterization of MEMS cantilevers, Microheaters, Inter Digitated Electrodes, Oxide diaphragms. I was then promoted to process technologist where I managed a team of 12 equipment operators and handled day today process operations at IIT Bombay Nanofabrication Facility with close collaboration with the utilities and the equipment managers. I also helped with user requests for accessing the lab facilities, contamination clearance and feasibility. After working for 3.5 years in microfabrication and characterization, I moved to BITS Pilani, Rajasthan in January 2021 to pursue my Doctoral Studies in MEMS devices.

I like to travel, explore new places and cultures and read (Mostly fiction). I am a trained swimmer and occasionally like to engage in Indian Classical Dance forms as well.

I can fluently read, write and speak English, Kannada, Marathi and Hindi.
