Cherry and Strawberry got their start in Georgia. They grew up moving between two homes- one in Crawford and one in Macon. Their father worked farming peaches to sell for a decent price and the family lived fairly well. The early introduction to fruit farming inspired a deep love of the outdoors for both girls. Cherry preferred to go out and help her father work with the plants, picking them off and handing them to Strawberry and their mother to be turned into jams, jellies, pieces and more. The two were fairly academically successful but had no intentions of going to college despite their parents’ encouragement. Instead, they wanted to expand the family business. They went about traveling for a few years to scout for an ideal location to expand the farm in another state. Eventually they stumbled into Hope County, Montana. It was the perfect location. Growing conditions were ideal, the land was dirt cheap, locals were friendly and looking for a source of fresh fruit, and eventually they found themselves a nice little plot of land in Holland Valley just a few miles away from Fall’s End. It was perfect.
When they 24 they finally settled in and began laying down roots- both metaphorically and literally. At the time, they were approached several times by Eden’s Gate and attended several sermons. They admired Joseph and his goal (and Cherry took a liking to John). They even agreed to sell them fruits and help with food drives the cult did early on, but ultimately they did not end up joining the Project. Time went on and their farm drew in a very good profit. It turned out that Hope County had a strong hankering for good homegrown fruits, and their notoriously sweet cherries, strawberries, peaches, as well as home-made cakes and pies, were just what the residents were looking for. They became so popular in fact that they ended up partnering up with Mary May Fairgrave to make some new drinks and sell them exclusively at the Spread Eagle Bar. The turn out for their Peach Cider and Golden Apple Alkie Floats was a massive success. For a while, life was good. But as the years went on, they found themselves under pressure as Project Eden’s Gate became more and more of a nuisance.
Against their wishes, the two of them took to arms to protect their farm and got several dogs to help guard the property. They prayed nothing more would come of the situation, however things finally came to a head when someone killed one of their dogs that had been alerted to the sound of a spray can being used. They woke up the next morning to find the word “SINNERS” written across their front porch. Immediately, they began cutting off supplies to the cult, angering John in the process, and joined the Resistance against the Peggies. The two proved invaluable as allies. Cherry earned the nickname Annie Oakley for masterful shooting and bold offensive strategies, while Lacie took a focus on helping people stock up and hunker down in preparation for attacks. The sisters have caused more trouble for the Seed family than they are worth and will continue to do whatever it takes to keep their home in one piece and push the Peggies out of it once and for all.
Cherry is the older, the bolder, and the more daring of the two siblings. She’s more outgoing but she’s also less filtered than her sister. She’s more than willing to help out a stranger in need if she sees one struggling to be a good neighbor, or tell off a troublemaker in front of everyone and see them off herself. She’s brutally honest and unafraid to speak her mind when she feels the situation calls for it. However, Cherry also tends to be the more impulsive and emotional of the two, driven by her heart more than her head and always trying to do what she feels is the right thing or best thing to do in the moment without thinking it through. Despite her sense of compassion and determination, she has a hair-trigger temper that can be explosive once her patience has run out, and she gets loud. And her fuse is especially short with the Peggies. These days she finds herself spending more time away from home than in it. This is because her keen eye and sharp sense of direction makes her great for scouting and scavenging supplies or picking off groups of Peggies that have managed to wander a bit too close undetected. Her resourcefulness and good shooting makes her an important part of Resistance, not to mention the fact that she’s not afraid to get up in their face once she’s out of ammo for a takedown, or run circles around them until backup arrives. Her only fault is being too proud, too stubborn, and caring too much for the people around her and not enough for herself– something her sister is frequently chastising her on.
Strawberry is not as bold and brave as her sister, but she’s confident in herself all the same. Hanging back to strategize with the others and build up their defenses, Strawberry has her own uses. She’s more skilled in technical aspects- though not enough to diffuse a bomb as much as she knows where to place one. She does a great job at monitoring surveillance via various cameras and microphones she’s set up, disrupting the radio broadcasts from the Project, and disturbing their deliveries by sabotaging roads and roadblocks, cutting off their supply lines, intercepting hostage vehicles, and making their silos and supplies they already do have virtually useless. Additionally, she still does just fine defending their home and continuously producing food for the resistance to rely on. She helps keep morale high and is an excellent mediator for internal conflicts. Being the more logical of the sisters, she tends to prioritize planning over sporadic action. But being a thinker hasn’t taken away from the fact that she is incredibly empathetic and uses her heart of gold to comfort those who have everything to the cult and are still fighting for both their lives and something to cling to. She herself tends to have a more difficult time coming out of her shell, something her sister comments often that she needs to work on.

MAIN - Far Cry 5
The twins work with the Resistance to take back Holland Valley and keep John Seed's hands off their farmland.
The Valentine Sisters can be written together or individually in threads.
The Valentine Sisters do not trust the Seeds or the Peggies at all. Cherry will attack on sight while Strawberry will make a hasty retreat.
They have a tendency to call people darling, doll, sweetheart, or Peach.
The sisters own quite a few dogs that guard the property.
The sisters also own a collection of horses that they occasionally breed. Most have been stolen killed or scattered by the cult, but they still have two that they can ride: Old Hickory and Willow.
