Born in a small town a little ways away from Hope County, the boys looked up to their parents as community heroes. Their dad was a State Trooper and their mother was an EMT paramedic. The kids frequently rode around with their parents, and when they weren’t riding around in an emergency vehicle during idle time, they were at home being raised by their sister Queenie. The boys were mostly homeschooled due to the nearest public school being miles and miles away. Their life was turned in its head however when they boys’ father was killed. A routine traffic stop gone wrong. They mourned his loss with Rook taking it the hardest. He vowed to become a good cop just like his dad and as soon as he was able to, he joined police training to do just that. Their mother ended up remarrying another woman by the name of Helen. They liked her fairly well, as well as their new baby sister Dawn. Shortly after Rook left, both Knight and Bishop ended up going their own ways. Knight served in the military for about two years before being discharged on Purple Heart and going to college along with Bishop to take after their mothers. Bishop became a paramedic while Knight went on to study and become a firefighter. During this time, their mother retired and when the boys came home they relocated to Hope County with her.
The three of them were initially rather iffy of the place seeing as there was no major hospital, firefighter station, or active established police department. But the folks seemed friendly enough and life was rather peaceful. Their mothers seemed happy, and so the boys took up work where they could find it. Rook ended up working over at the Hope County Jail in Henbane as a dispatched junior deputy sent out on patrols to help keep peace within the region. Bishop stayed in Holland Valley close to home, where he found a job at the Hope County Clinic. He converted his truck into a makeshift ambulance for emergency responses. Seeing as there was no fire department established in the county, Knight decided to head up into the Whitetail Mountains and work at the VA Center. With a bit of support from the management, he managed to convince someone from outside to send up two fire trucks and set up a makeshift fire station at the center. The brothers ended up seeing their fair share of petty crimes, reckless injuries, and manageable brush fires, but for the most part life proved to be very peaceful and enjoyable in Hope County.
However not all good things last. A few years into their new lives, the boys began seeing roadblocks more frequently. Getting home was becoming more and more difficult and calls for emergency services began to grow more and more frequent. Soon enough they were setting up cots in their offices to deal with the new round-the-clock schedules. Then the counties began to be overrun. The boys had heard of the Project at Eden’s Gate but weren’t prepared for the storm they brought with them. The Whitetail Mountains were the first to fall. Despite their best efforts to repel the attacks, Knight and his colleagues were isolated and lacked proper armament in the Mountains. With the towers jammed, they couldn’t get a signal out for backup and were ultimately forced to abandon the VA Center. Most of the escapees were hunted down by Jacob and his Chosen. Knight was one of the lucky ones. He managed to find an abandoned prepper’s bunker and has been hiding out looking for ways to call for help. He wants to make his way back south to Fall’s End and be with his mother’s but the roadblock on the bridge and the fact he’s unarmed is keeping him back.
The Henbane was the second place to fall. Bliss flowers being planted across the region caused a massive spike in reported crimes as Faith’s angels were released into the region. Combined with cult efforts, the jail was eventually overrun. Having an exorbitant amount of firepower was nothing compared to the sheer numbers the Peggies had. Rook eventually ended up leaving Hope County with Whitehorse, Staci, and Hudson to go get help from the outside. He wanted to know where his family was and if they were okay but the downed radio towers made communication beforehand impossible, and so he was forced to leave the region with only the vague hope that they were okay and would continue to be until he got back. While on the outside, their please were answered and they finally made contact with a US Marshall. After filing for an arrest warrant and being granted said warrant from a state official, the lot of them returned to put Joseph Seed behind bars with the hope of finally putting an end to his reign of destruction.
While Rook was getting help from the outside, Holland Valley began building a resistance against the cult. However their efforts merely seemed to be slowing the inevitable. Bishop witnessed as the cult turned from simply buying up land to taking it. He watched countless farms fall and roadblocks rise as John Seed’s grip on the valley tightened. Eventually, he was forced to make a daring escape when the clinic was raided for supplies. Much like his siblings, he was lucky he got far enough to be out of shooting range. He ran through woods and fields and eventually made his way back to Fall’s End to join the resistance. There he found his mothers clinging to the group for support. His sister informed him she’d been trying to get in contact with their other brothers but to no avail. Angry and desperate, Bishop took to arms and joined the resistance as an on-call medic for them. He tends to their wounds and help provide insight into supplies, especially plants that can be used as medicines. His ultimate goal is to find his brothers and make sure they’re okay. Or, give them a proper burial.
Rook is the youngest brother of the three and certainly the most fiery of them all. Like his brother Bishop he has a big heart. He also has a sharp moral compass and sense of responsibility that is accompanied by a very stubborn nature and fierce senses of loyalty and determination. He’s far more playful than his brothers and also far more impetuous. He acts emotionally and tends to be a bit more impulsive, unable to stop himself when he feels like something is wrong or is faced with injustice before him. His tendency to rush into things goes beyond being metaphorical- when he sees Peggies he floors it. He’ll rush headlong into a group of them and take them down if it means saving even one innocent life. Without meaning to, Rook often comes off as overly angry or destructive. In truth, a lot of the damage he causes tends to be accidental, as he’s a nonviolent person for the most part. That being said, he’s not afraid to defend himself and he’s long learned that, in Hope County, he has to fire a gun more often than not, and whether or not he’d like to. He is determined to help the people of Hope County, and in particular, he’s determined to find his brothers and bring them home, and send Joseph Seed and his rag tag family of weeds back to the pit of hell they crawled out of. He just needs to stop long enough to use his head and figure out a good way of going about it. Luckily, what he lacks in critical thinking he makes up for in daring.
Bishop is the middle brother. He wears his heart on his sleeve and is an exceptionally warm person. His immense empathy and compassion is accompanied by a very optimistic and charming personality, as well as a brilliant mind honed in on medical training. He’s proven to be a game-changer for the resistance, providing an abundance of much-needed medical assistance and emotional support for everyone struggling with the battle. His spirit is every bit as unwavering as his older brothers. He’s also proven to be very tech savvy despite the hindrances of his situation. He can disassemble, reassemble, swap, and repurpose machines for whatever he needs them to do and he’s a staunch survivalist with a specialty for fishing and plant harvesting. He’s incredibly innovative and creative as well, able to map out and chart plans accordingly. Though he relies more on his heart and his guts than his head, Bishop is no fool. He knows when to be reasonable, both in combat and out of it, and works well as a mediator for conflict. He has a deep love for people and aside from seeing the rest of his family again, his biggest wish is for all the fighting to finally stop.
Knight is the oldest of the bunch and arguably the most reasonable. Having learned over the years to stay in control of his emotions and be rational about situations, he measures things based on efficiency and risk. He won’t do things if the risks outweigh the rewards and has learned to value the many over the few. He’s bold and fearless, willing to go the extra mile if it means saving a life or potentially changing the game in his favor. He’s always trying to think three steps ahead- something that often causes him to overthink sometimes and doubt his own abilities despite his brilliance and his good intentions. On top of being incredibly brainy, Knight is also incredibly brawny. He’s not afraid to go toe to toe with some Peggies and his military training has given him a shot accurate enough to be the bane of Faith’s angels. He’s incredibly protective and just a little bit competitive, and though many comment that he’s too stern it’s his serious nature and planning that have saved his colleagues’ lives on more than one occasion. He’s a tough man on the inside just as much as he is on the outside. Emotionally, he tends to come off as cold and callous, but he is capable of immense warmth and compassion. He’s just not exactly in a position to do so.

MAIN -Far Cry 5
The Three Musketeers work as first responders in Hope County and have been scattered across the three regions due to the ongoing conflict.
The brothers don’t need to be written together, they can be written individually.
The brothers each have their own strengths and witnesses.
The brothers hate Peggies unquestionably. Rook will attack on sight. Bishop will immediately retreat from them. Knight will try to get away but will attack if he has to.
