Lola comes from a family deeply embedded in the entertainment industry. They got their start early on as a circus. They gained their fame traveling around Russia, Asia, and Eastern Europe performing for crowds in various ways. Handed down from generation to generation, the family eventually gained notoriety for starring in several independent films produced by Mythics. Lola’s mother went on to become a well known model and fashionista on the Mythic scene and her father eventually turned over the circus business to become a producer himself. The success of her family allowed Lola to live a lavish childhood. She herself became a child star, finding success and popularity in family titles and in action movies. When she was twenty she began modelling for several fashion agencies, including Clawdio Industries. She helped establish the Fantasy Runway Show, a fashion show for Mythics and humans alike to enjoy as myths modeled various clothing pieces from various designers all over the world.
Her family’s success and Lola’s own financial ventures allowed ehr to stay comfortably afloat amidst the madness of the Mythic War, though she did have some under-the-table dealings with the Takamura Sisters and eloped fund the Mythic side of the fight. At the end of the war, she came out unscathed and with a greater audience than ever. She became a very powerful and influential actress and investor, sought after by many for her role in films. Following her incredible success in the film industry, Lola began a new venture as an independent musical artist. Her recordings and albums sold like hotcakes, generating her a tremendous revenue and only amplifying her reach across the world. She’s performed tours and concerts all across the globe as part of her massive advertising campaign.
Lola’s wild success has made her a well-known name in the Mythic and human world. Yet her own fame has become her bane in some regards. She often struggles to go out and do things and often finds herself overwhelmed by the constant calls and paparazzi. As a result, Lola often goes out in disguise, but even still she longs for the opportunity to live freely and without the burden of fame. Even if it’s just for a day.
Sporadic and fun-loving, Lola finds great joy getting to live out her dreams as a supermodel, a singer, and an actress. She adores taking on the roles of the character she plays, she finds great joy and stress relief in putting together compositions and lyrics, and she feels most confident when she’s modelling a stunning outfit for a crowd. She’s been described by many who have worked with her as appearing quite intimidating but actually being incredibly polite, refined, and just fun to be around. She’s well-loved for her consistently stunning performances and the sheer amount of time and money she gives back to the Mythic communities around. She’s funded many public projects and charities and regularly performs for people in need on top of giving out of her own pocket.
However, the spotlight does get a bit tiring after a while. While she is grateful for all the opportunities and job offers she’s presented with, Lola often feels overwhelmed by the attention at times. She feels as though she has very little time to herself and thus her hiatuses tend to be very short. This is due in part to her manager’s persistent badgering at her to be at every event and borderline uncomfortable advances towards her. For these reasons, she’s tried very hard to become independent. However, that will not be possible until her current contracts are over. Lola hasn’t spoken up about these issues but she has kept a rather extensive log of the problems she’s facing, including issues with her mental health and her struggle to maintain a healthy personal environment. Despite this, she is seeking help for her problems and she is doing her best to remedy the situation.
Lola’s true nature is not all that different from what she advertises. She’s cheerful, confident, adventurous, polite, and refined. She enjoys performing, visiting new places, and trying new things wherever possible. Her newest goal is to get her own talk show as soon as her contracts have expired and she’s able to go independent. However, Lola prefers to remain on the cautious side and is clever in her plans. She believes that her separation from corporate music and performance agencies may not be clean, so she stays in contact with the Takamura Sisters in case she needs protection or a quiet getaway.
