Thank you for choosing Velto. We value the security and privacy of your personal information and consider its protection a top priority. This policy explains how we collect, store, and process information when you use Velto, as well as the rights you are entitled to.
When you use Velto, we may collect limited information locally or via third-party services. This information is used solely to provide core functionality, ensure service stability, and improve user experience.
With the explicit authorization of the user, the application may read financial SMS messages from the past three months, which may include bank account transaction notifications (income, expenses, transfers), credit card statements, and notifications from e-wallets or other payment platforms.
This information is collected solely to generate bills and financial records locally, helping users automatically organize and manage their personal finances without the need for repeated manual input, making financial management more efficient and intuitive.
All analysis and processing of SMS content is strictly carried out on the user’s device. The application will not upload original SMS messages to any server or third-party system. Local processing ensures maximum protection of personal information and prevents any unauthorized data disclosure. Users may enable or disable SMS access permissions at any time through the application or device system settings. Once disabled, the automatic SMS bookkeeping feature will no longer be available.
We may collect your device brand, model, operating system version, and unique system identifiers (e.g., Android ID) locally.
This information is used to ensure compatibility and stability across devices and to assist with basic abuse prevention analysis.
We use the Google-provided Advertising ID to measure and analyze advertising performance.
The Advertising ID is used for statistical purposes only and is not combined with phone numbers or other personally identifiable information, nor used for personalized advertising.
You may be required to provide a phone number when registering or logging in to Velto.
Phone numbers are used for account registration, verification, preventing duplicate or abnormal registrations, and ensuring account security.
This information is processed locally on your device and is not transmitted to servers.
Velto may access your camera when you actively use it, such as to change or set your profile picture.
The app will not access your photo gallery or storage in the background, and no images other than your profile picture will be saved, uploaded, or analyzed.
To correctly display dates and times in your time zone within the app, Velto may access approximate location information from the system.
Approximate location information may also help identify unusual device or environmental usage for account security and fraud prevention purposes.
This information is used only for time zone calculations and security purposes, is not stored or linked to your identity, and does not create precise location tracking.
To improve service quality and advertising effectiveness, Velto integrates the following third-party SDKs, which may collect necessary device identifiers and usage information:
Function: Ad optimization, user behavior analysis, and ad conversion attribution.
Data Collected: Advertising ID, device information, app usage data (e.g., clicks, navigation paths).
Privacy Policy: See Facebook Privacy Policy here (https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy)
Note: Velto uses Facebook SDK solely for advertising and analytics purposes. Your accounting data, phone number, or identity information is not shared or transmitted to Facebook.
Function: Install source analysis, ad attribution, campaign tracking.
Data Collected: Advertising ID, Android ID, device information, IP address.
Privacy Policy: See Adjust Privacy Policy here (https://www.adjust.com/terms/privacy-policy)
Note: Velto uses Adjust SDK only for advertising statistics and analysis. We do not transmit or share your accounting data, identity information, or any sensitive content through Adjust SDK.
The app includes a WebView component, which may be used to open help documentation, privacy statements, or submit feedback to the help center.
When using WebView, the following data may be involved:
Loaded webpage content comes only from verified, trusted domains, used solely for display purposes and not stored.
Cookies and cached data are managed by the respective webpage.
Page interaction information, such as clicks or form submissions.
Webpages follow their own privacy policies and data handling rules; the app does not automatically collect browsing information or track web activity in the background.
To enable data interaction on the feedback page in your profile, the app establishes communication between WebView and JSBridge. The primary purposes include:
Accessing device functions, such as uploading images or screenshots to the help center to provide clearer feedback.
Facilitating smooth data exchange between webpages and app components during feedback to optimize user experience.
Data Handling:
Data exchanged via JSBridge remains within the app and is not transmitted or stored on external servers.
JSBridge is triggered only by user-initiated actions (e.g., uploading feedback images); no information is collected in the background.
Users can revoke permissions or delete uploaded data at any time via system settings.
Core accounting data is stored locally on your device only, not uploaded to servers, and cloud sync or cross-device recovery is not provided.
If you uninstall the app, all related data will be removed from your device and will not be retained or transferred.
You can manually delete your account and data via app settings:
Open Velto → Go to Me → Select Delete Account → Confirm to permanently delete the account and all data.
Velto does not access or save your local accounting data.
Data transmission involving third-party SDKs is encrypted.
Users can manage or revoke authorizations via system settings (e.g., disable location permission).
Security policies are regularly updated to ensure information is used only for legitimate purposes.
Users of Velto have the following rights:
Access and Correction: You may modify or delete records stored in the app at any time.
Permission Revocation: You can disable camera or location permissions via system settings.
Data Deletion: Uninstalling the app will remove all local data.
