1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy governs your use of the Velko Player mobile application ("Application"), developed and maintained by Limon iT Lab ("Service Provider," "we," "our," or "us"). By downloading, installing, or using the Application, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms of this Privacy Policy.

Velko Player is a media player application for Android. Users can play Media content from URLs, save and manage a personal playlist of media URLs and names, import and export their saved media lists as CSV files, and customize the app's theme. The Application is provided on an "AS IS" basis and is supported by advertising as described in Section 6.

If you do not agree with any part of this Privacy Policy, please discontinue use of the Application immediately.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Automatically Collected Information

When you use the Application, certain technical data may be collected automatically, including:

Device identifiers (e.g., advertising ID, device model, OS version)
Internet Protocol (IP) address
App session duration and usage frequency
Crash reports and diagnostic data
General geographic region (country/region level only — not precise location)

2.2 App Usage Data

To operate and improve the Application, we may collect aggregate, anonymized data about how you interact with the player, such as playback events and feature usage. This data is not linked to your identity.

2.3 Information You Provide

Media URLs and Names: When you add media items to your saved list, the URL and optional name you enter are stored locally on your device only. We do not transmit your saved media list to our servers.

We do not require account registration to use the Application.

2.4 What We Do NOT Collect

Precise GPS or real-time location data
Contacts, microphone, or camera data
Biometric data
Financial credentials or payment card details
Photo gallery or media library content (the Application does not request gallery access)
Sensitive personal information beyond what is described above

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information collected for the following purposes:

To operate, maintain, and improve the Application and its features (media playback, saved list, import/export, theme settings)
To diagnose and resolve technical errors or crashes
To analyze aggregate, anonymized usage trends to enhance user experience
To display relevant advertisements via Google AdMob
To communicate important notices or changes to this Policy
To comply with applicable legal obligations
To detect, prevent, or investigate fraudulent or unauthorized activity

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes.

4. Import & Export Feature

Velko Player allows you to import and export your saved media list as a CSV file. This feature works entirely on your device:

Export: Your saved media list is written to a CSV file on your device storage or shared to another app via the Android share sheet. We do not receive or process this file.
Import: You may select a CSV file from your device to import media items into your saved list. The file is read locally on your device only.

We do not have access to any files you export or import through this feature.

5. Media Playback & Network Access

The Application requires Internet access (INTERNET permission) and network state access (ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE permission) to:

media content from URLs you enter
Load advertising content via Google AdMob

When you play a media URL, your device connects directly to the media server at that URL. We do not proxy, log, or receive the content of media streams you play. Standard network request data (such as your IP address) may be visible to the media server you connect to.

The Application supports Picture-in-Picture (PiP) mode and keeps the screen on during playback for an uninterrupted viewing experience.

6. Third-Party Services

The Application integrates third-party SDKs to support advertising, analytics, and core functionality. Each of these third parties operates under its own privacy policy, which we encourage you to review:

These services may collect technical and usage data as described in their respective policies. We do not grant these third parties access to personally identifiable information beyond what is technically transmitted through standard SDK operation.

7. Advertising

The Application displays advertisements via Google AdMob to support free access to the Application. Ads may appear as banner ads (on the home screen and player screen) and interstitial or rewarded ads subject to configurable daily caps. Ad delivery may use device identifiers (such as the advertising ID) and general technical data to serve and measure ads, subject to Google's policies and your device's advertising settings.

8. Data Retention

We retain automatically collected usage and diagnostic data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, or as required by law — typically no longer than 24 months.

Your saved media list and locally stored preferences are stored on your device and are removed when you uninstall the Application.

9. Opt-Out & Data Control

9.1 Uninstalling the Application

You may stop all data collection by the Application at any time by uninstalling it through your device's standard uninstall process or via the Google Play Store. Uninstalling will also remove all locally stored preferences and your saved media list.

9.2 Advertising Preferences

You may limit personalized advertising by adjusting your device's advertising settings:

Android: Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization

10. Children's Privacy

The Application is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13.

If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided personal information without verifiable parental consent, we will take immediate steps to delete that information from our records. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has submitted personal information through the Application, please contact us immediately at limonitlab@gmail.com.

11. Security

We take the security of your information seriously and implement industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect data from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.

Data transmitted between the Application and our servers, as well as data transmitted through third-party SDKs (such as AdMob and Firebase), uses encrypted transmission (TLS/HTTPS). The network security configuration of the Application enforces HTTPS for all server communications. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your information, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or other factors. When we make material changes, we will:

Update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this Policy
Notify users through a prominent in-app notice

Your continued use of the Application after any changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy. We encourage you to review this Policy regularly.

13. Your Consent

By downloading, installing, or using the Application, you expressly consent to the collection and use of your information as described in this Privacy Policy. If you are using the Application on behalf of a minor, you represent that you have the legal authority to provide such consent on their behalf.

14. Governing Law

This Privacy Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable local laws. Any disputes arising in connection with this Policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in the Service Provider's jurisdiction.
