PRIVACY POLICY – CARARCA-VEHICLE RECORDS

CarArca ("the App") is developed and published by MrDevelopments Studio.
This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use CarArca.
1. INFORMATION YOU PROVIDE
CarArca allows you to enter and store information related to your vehicles, including but not limited to:
• Vehicle make, model, year, mileage, license plate and VIN
• Maintenance and service records
• Vehicle expenses
• Insurance, inspection and other document information
• Vehicle body condition records
• Accessories
• Reminders
• Notes
• Vehicle photographs
• Photos or images of receipts, documents and other records
The information you enter is primarily used to provide the App's vehicle management and record-keeping functionality.
2. LOCAL DATA STORAGE
CarArca is designed primarily as an offline-first application.
Vehicle information and records are generally stored locally on your device.
MrDevelopments Studio does not independently receive or maintain a copy of your locally stored vehicle records simply because you use the App.
If backup, restore, synchronization or cloud functionality is offered, information will only be processed as necessary to provide the relevant feature.
3. CAMERA, PHOTOS AND FILES
CarArca may request access to your device's camera, photos or files when you choose to:
• Take a vehicle photo
• Select an existing image
• Attach receipts or documents
• Add images to maintenance, body condition or accessory records
• Scan supported information
• Create, save, restore or share backups
These permissions are used only to provide the features you request.
4. OCR AND DOCUMENT SCANNING
Certain features may use Optical Character Recognition (OCR) to extract text from images, documents or vehicle information.
Where OCR processing is performed locally on the device, the image does not need to be uploaded to MrDevelopments Studio for recognition.
CarArca does not guarantee that automatically recognized information is accurate. Users should review scanned information before relying on it.
5. BIOMETRIC AUTHENTICATION AND PIN
CarArca may provide optional biometric authentication and/or PIN protection.
Biometric authentication is handled through the security mechanisms provided by your device and operating system.
CarArca does not receive or store your fingerprint, facial recognition data or other raw biometric information.
6. ADVERTISING
The free version of CarArca may display advertisements provided by Google AdMob.
Google and its advertising partners may collect or process certain information, such as device identifiers, advertising identifiers, IP address, approximate location or interaction information, subject to applicable law, consent requirements and Google's policies.

Premium users may receive an advertisement-free experience as described in the App.
7. IN-APP PURCHASES AND SUBSCRIPTIONS
CarArca may offer subscriptions and one-time purchases through Google Play.
Payments are processed by Google Play.
MrDevelopments Studio does not directly receive or store your complete payment card or banking information.
Google Play may provide the App with information necessary to verify purchases, subscriptions and entitlement status.
8. PDF REPORTS AND SHARING
CarArca may allow users to generate PDF reports based on information stored in the App.
Reports may contain vehicle information, photographs, maintenance records, expenses, body condition information or other data selected by the user.
PDF reports are generated for the user's use.
When you choose to export or share a report, the report may be provided to another application or service selected by you. CarArca is not responsible for how third-party applications or recipients handle information after you intentionally share it.
Users should review the contents of a report before sharing it.
9. BACKUP AND RESTORE
CarArca may allow users to create and restore backups.
Backup files may contain information stored in the App.
Users are responsible for securely storing backup files and controlling who has access to them.
10. NOTIFICATIONS AND REMINDERS
If enabled, CarArca may send local notifications related to vehicle maintenance, insurance, inspections, documents or other reminders created or configured within the App.
Notification permissions can be managed through your device settings.
11. DATA SHARING
MrDevelopments Studio does not sell users' personal vehicle records.
Information may be processed by third-party service providers when necessary to provide specific features, such as:
• Google Play services
• Google Play Billing
• Google AdMob
• Operating system services required for notifications, camera access, storage or authentication
Such services process information according to their own privacy policies and applicable terms.
12. DATA RETENTION AND DELETION
Locally stored information remains on your device until it is deleted through the App, removed through device/application data controls, or otherwise removed by the user.
Deleting the App or clearing its application data may permanently remove locally stored information unless the user has created a separate backup.
Users should maintain appropriate backups of information they wish to preserve.
13. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
CarArca is not specifically designed for children and is intended as a vehicle management and record-keeping utility.
The App does not knowingly seek to collect personal information from children.
14. SECURITY
Reasonable technical measures are used to protect information handled by the App.
However, no electronic storage or processing method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Users are responsible for maintaining appropriate security for their devices, backups and exported files.
15. FUTURE FEATURES
CarArca may introduce optional features such as cloud synchronization, multi-device access, web access, advanced vehicle insights or connected vehicle functionality in future versions.
If a future feature materially changes how personal information is collected, processed, stored or shared, this Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly before or when such functionality becomes available.
Features described as "Coming Soon" are not considered active data-processing features until they are actually released.
16. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
This Privacy Policy may be updated when CarArca features, legal requirements or third-party services change.
The latest version will be made available through the App's privacy policy page or its Google Play listing.
