At Voice Changer Soundboard(“we”, “our”, or “the app”), we are committed to providing a secure and privacy-focused user experience. Voice Changer Soundboard is designed as a local voice changer. All audio processing happens directly on your device, and your recordings never leave your device for processing.
Voice Changer Soundboard prioritizes user privacy and minimizes data collection. While we do not collect direct personal identifiers like names or emails, we use limited technical data (including device identifiers) to improve app performance as described in Section 3
No Voice Recording Storage: Voice recordings are processed in real time on your device. We do not store or transmit your audio files to external servers.
No Private Identity Information : We do not collect directly identifiable personal information such as your name, email address, or phone number.
However, we collect limited technical identifiers (such as device identifiers) through third-party services as described in Section 3.
Analytics and Optimization: To improve user experience, we use industry-standard tools to analyze app usage and conduct A/B testing. These tools collect technical usage data as described in Section 3
Voice Changer Soundboard requests a minimal set of permissions necessary for the app’s functionality.
This permission allows the application to capture your voice so that voice effects can be applied. Audio processing occurs entirely on your device and is never uploaded or shared.
INTERNET & ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE These permissions are used to display legal documents, support basic network connectivity for app optimization, and monitor connection quality to ensure stable data-driven features as described in Section 3.
DYNAMIC_RECEIVER_NOT_EXPORTED_PERMISSION This is a standard Android security permission used for secure internal communication between application components. It prevents other apps from accessing internal app broadcasts, ensuring your data remains isolated and secure.
AD_ID & ACCESS_ADSERVICES (AD_ID, ATTRIBUTION): These permissions allow the App to access your device's advertising identifier and related attribution services. We use this information via Google Firebase to measure install sources and analyze app performance.
BIND_GET_INSTALL_REFERRER_SERVICE: This allows us to understand which marketing channel or campaign led you to install our App, helping us optimize our promotional efforts.
WAKE_LOCK: This permission ensures that the audio transformation or recording process is not interrupted when the device screen turns off or enters sleep mode.
Advertising & Attribution (AD_ID & ACCESS_ADSERVICES): We use these to measure the effectiveness of our installation sources via Google Firebase. This helps us understand which marketing channels are most effective while adhering to the latest Android privacy standards.
RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED: This permission is used solely for essential internal app initialization upon device restart (such as updating local configurations) to ensure the application remains stable and ready for user-initiated actions.
Notification Access (POST_NOTIFICATIONS)
Service Transparency: Used to provide a persistent notification whenever the app is performing audio recording or playback in the background. This ensures you are always informed that a recording task is active, even when the app is not on screen.
User Engagement: Periodically sends updates about new features or tips to help you get the most out of our voice modification tools.
User Control: You can manage or opt-out of these notifications at any time through the app settings or your device’s system settings.
FOREGROUND_SERVICE (Foreground Services)
To provide a reliable and uninterrupted experience, the app utilizes foreground services. This prevents the Android system from terminating your tasks when you switch apps or lock your screen:
Microphone (FOREGROUND_SERVICE_MICROPHONE): Ensures the app can continue capturing your voice recording without interruption if you switch to other apps or turn off your screen. This guarantees the integrity of your recording session until you manually stop it.
Media Playback (FOREGROUND_SERVICE_MEDIA_PLAYBACK): Guarantees stable and continuous playback of your transformed audio files, even when the screen is off or you are using other applications.
Data Sync (FOREGROUND_SERVICE_DATA_SYNC): Ensures that local processing tasks—such as applying complex voice effects or saving your creations to local storage—are completed successfully in the background, preventing any data loss or file corruption.
Voice Changer Soundboard integrates with Google Firebase (provided by Google LLC) to provide a better user experience through data-driven optimization.
Firebase Analytics & Remote Config: We use Google Firebase to understand how users interact with our app and to perform A/B testing (via Remote Config). To support these functions, the following Device or Other IDs and technical information may be collected automatically:
Device or Other IDs: including Android Advertising ID, Firebase installation IDs, and AdServices attribution identifiers.
App Usage & Performance Data: including session duration, feature engagement, app crashes, and install referrer data (to understand which source led to the app installation).
General Device Information: such as device model, OS version, and language settings.
Purposes of Processing: This data is used solely for internal analysis, app optimization, and measuring the effectiveness of our distribution channels (Attribution). It is not used for targeted advertising, personalized advertising, or cross-app tracking.
Crucially, while we track app usage events and attribution data, we never collect, store, or transmit the actual audio recordings or any biometric voice data processed within the app.
Data Transfers: Since we use Google Firebase, the technical information described above may be transferred to and processed in countries outside of your residence (including the United States). We rely on standard contractual clauses to ensure your data remains protected according to applicable laws.
Static Resources: The application may load publicly available static resources (e.g., icons from flagcdn.com). During standard communication, limited technical info like IP addresses may be processed by the CDN provider. Voice Changer Soundboard does not control these providers.
User Control: You can reset or delete your Advertising ID, and manage attribution settings in your Android device settings (e.g., via Settings > Privacy > Ads or Privacy Sandbox) to limit data collection.
We do not store personal data on our own servers.
However, limited technical data is processed by third-party services as described in Section 3.
As a result, there is generally no personal information retained by the developer on our own servers.
Any audio files you choose to create or save using the application remain stored only on your device's local storage. These files remain fully under your control and may be deleted at any time through the application or your device’s file management tools.
If you contact us directly (for example via email), we may retain the information you provide only for as long as necessary to respond to your request and comply with legal obligations.
Under applicable privacy laws, users may have certain rights regarding their personal data. Since we use Firebase, you can manage your data by resetting your Advertising ID or uninstalling the app. For specific data requests, you may contact us.

Since our collection is limited to technical identifiers, these rights are primarily exercised through device-level settings or by contacting us to identify specific technical records.
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), organizations must have a legal basis for processing personal data.
Our legal basis for processing the limited technical data collected via Firebase is our legitimate interest in monitoring app performance and optimizing user experience.
If users voluntarily provide personal information when contacting us (for example through email support), such data may be processed based on user consent solely for the purpose of responding to inquiries.
Under certain privacy laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), users have the right to know whether their personal information is sold or shared with third parties.
Voice Changer Soundboard does not sell, rent, trade, or share personal information with third parties.
We do not sell personal information. Technical data is only shared with our service provider, Google Firebase, for the purposes of app optimization as described in Section 3
Certain privacy laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act (VCDPA), grant users the right to opt out of certain types of data processing. These rights may include the ability to opt out of:
the sale of personal data
the sharing of personal data with third parties
targeted advertising
profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects
We do not sell your personal data. The technical identifiers collected via Google Firebase are used strictly for app optimization and performance monitoring, not for building advertising profiles or cross-app targeted advertising.

We encourage users to contact us first so that we can address any concerns directly.
Voice Changer Soundboard does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13.
We use Firebase Analytics in a manner consistent with protecting minor privacy. We do not knowingly collect private identity information from children under 13.
Although Voice Changer Soundboard focuses on local processing and only transmits the limited technical data mentioned in Section 3, we follow standard Android development practices to maintain the security and integrity of the application and protect local device resources, as well as ensure the secure transmission of limited technical data.
We may review and update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in the application, legal requirements, or privacy practices. This review may occur at least once per year.
When updates are made, the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document will be revised to reflect the most recent revision.
