Zubair built the VaultZ app as a Free/Ad-Supported app. This SERVICE is provided by Zubair at no cost and is intended for use as is.
This page is used to inform visitors regarding our policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information if anyone decided to use our Service.
1. Information Collection and Use VaultZ is designed with your absolute privacy in mind. The app acts as a local secure vault on your device. We do not collect, store, or upload your private photos, videos, documents, or audio files to any external servers. All files hidden using VaultZ remain strictly encrypted and saved locally on your device. Furthermore, our in-app "Ghost Browser" is designed to operate in incognito mode by default; we do not collect, log, or store your browsing history, search queries, or trackers.
2. Permissions We Request To provide the core functionality of hiding and securing your data, VaultZ requires the following permissions:
Storage Access (Read/Write): Required to access the photos, videos, audio, and documents you wish to hide and to securely encrypt/decrypt them within your device's storage.
Camera (Optional): Required only if you use the app to capture photos or videos directly into the secure vault.
Biometric/Fingerprint Access: Used strictly locally on your device to unlock the app and authenticate password resets if you choose to enable biometric security.
3. Third-Party Services The app may use third-party services that may collect information used to identify you (e.g., Google Play Services for crash analytics or AdMob for displaying ads). These services have their own Privacy Policies regarding how they handle data. Additionally, while the VaultZ Ghost Browser does not track your activity, the third-party websites you choose to visit through it may have their own tracking mechanisms and privacy policies.
4. Data Security We value your trust in using VaultZ to protect your personal files. The app uses advanced local encryption and features like the Decoy Vault to secure your data. However, please remember that no method of electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security if the device itself is compromised, rooted, or if you forget your Secret PIN/Password and have not set up a recovery method. Please note: Uninstalling the app or clearing its data without restoring your files first will permanently delete your hidden vault data.
5. Children's Privacy VaultZ is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at vaultzofficial@gmail.com so we can take appropriate action.
