Vault Path ("the App") is developed by Bashir Kasujja, operating under Boldly Applied Tech (bApp). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use Vault Path.
By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.
When you register or sign in, we collect:
Email address — used to create and manage your account
Display name — used to personalise your experience
We collect financial data that you manually enter, including:
Transaction records (income and expenses)
Budget goals and categories
Account balances
This data is stored securely in your account and is never sold or shared with third parties for commercial purposes.
The App uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may automatically collect:
Android Advertising ID (GAID) — used to serve relevant ads
Device information (model, OS version)
App usage data for ad performance
You can reset or opt out of personalised ads in your Android device settings under Settings → Google → Ads.
If you choose to sign in with Google, Google may share your name and email address with the App. No additional Google account data is accessed.
Email & Name - Account creation, authentication, password reset
Financial data - Displaying your transactions, budgets, and reports within the App
Advertising ID - Serving ads through Google AdMob
We do not:
Sell your personal data
Share your financial data with advertisers
Access your bank accounts or financial institutions
Your account data is stored securely using Google Firebase, which uses industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest
Your financial data is tied to your account and only accessible when you are signed in
We do not store your data on our own servers — all storage is handled by Google Firebase
The App uses the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:
Google Firebase - Authentication & data storage (firebase.google.com/support/privacy)
Google AdMob - In-app advertising (policies.google.com/privacy)
Google Play Billing - Premium subscriptions (play.google.com/about/play-terms)
If you purchase a premium subscription, payment is processed entirely by Google Play. We do not collect or store any payment card information. Purchase records are managed by your Google Play account.
Your data is retained for as long as your account is active
If you delete your account, your data will be removed from Firebase in accordance with Google's data deletion policies
You may request deletion of your data by contacting us at the email below
Vault Path is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
You have the right to:
Access the personal data we hold about you
Correct inaccurate data
Delete your account and associated data
Opt out of personalised advertising (via Android device settings)
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted within the App and on our website. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
