Our project is a vault opener that uses an STM32 microcontroller, Arduino microcontroller, RFID card reader, bluetooth module, and a small motor.

Project Schematic

Using a RFID chip reader, an Arduino board, and a small motor, we aim to create a key-card door access system. Upon the RFID reader recognizing a valid card, the Arduino board will send a signal to the STM32 Nucelo board. At this time, the user will be prompted if they would like to unlock the door (via Bluetooth connection). Then, if the user responds to allow door access, the motor will turn and retract the deadbolt on the door. The time and date of the entry shown in termite will be logged into a text file on the command computer. After 15 seconds, the door's deadbolt will automatically lock itself for security.
