We know you are worried about earthquakes, flood and fire. The big one could hit any day.

If you attended our Varsity Park Prepare Fair on Sunday June 23, we hope you have become more prepared and feel less worried. Our goal of this event was for you to create your emergency kit, get some supplies, engage with your VarsityParkCERT and neighbors and have fun.

• Get a free startup emergency kit, 1 per family, while supplies last (60 kits distributed)
• Get informational handouts and see a variety of emergency kits and supplies
• We raffled a variety of emergency supplies
• People enjoyed a root beer float, or a cup of vanilla ice-cream
• Kids had an activity and received gifts such as flashlights, light-sticks and whistles.
• A MV Fire engine and crew came from Station #2 and was inspected by adults and kids
• People were able to meet neighbors and many of our CERT volunteers
