Allen Spears was a three year starter and spirtual leader for the Boys Basketball Team. He averaged 19 points and 5 assists per game and enjoyed a career high 30 point game performance against Meadowdale in his senior season. The two-time captain played a pivotal role in leading the Beavers to the school's most accomplished back-to-back seasons ever that included a #10 State Ranking (AP), Dayton Daily News Area Rankings Title and Patterson's first and only District Championship (contributing 17 points in the upset victory over Cincinnati Withrow). He earned First Team All-City Honors and was named a District 15 All-Star. Allen signed early with the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and played one season as a back-up point guard for the Panthers. In 1996, the young entreprenuer launched his on small business "Spears Services" (specializing in lawn care, mulching, snow removal, mowing and other landscaping services). He was appointed Boys Basketball Coach at Pointz Career Center for the 2018-19 Season and has the program positioned to be a competitive force in the City League. Currently working as a paraprofessional in the Trotwood School District for the past five years.
