Amanda Leo

Amanda Leo, MOT, OTR/L is the Program Director of the Occupational Therapy Assistant program at Tidewater Community College. She earned her Master’s degree from Duquesne University and brings a professional background in pediatric practice. With experience in student success, inclusive leadership, and program development, she focuses on creating accessible learning environments and strengthening pathways that support diverse student populations. In addition to her long-standing leadership with the Virginia Occupational Therapy Education Council,  Amanda has served as a past President of the Virginia Occupational Therapy Association. She remains actively engaged in state and national association initiatives to support the profession and respond to evolving trends in practice, academic instruction, fieldwork, and capstone education.
