At Vanzel EcoSolution, we provide end-to-end, environmentally compliant solutions for non-biodegradable waste management, with a strong focus on plastic and dry waste in rural Mizoram. Our operations fully align with Swachh Bharat Mission-Grameen (SBM-G), Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR), Plastic Waste Management (PWM) rules, and other regulatory standards, ensuring scientific processing, resource recovery, and zero-harm to the environment.
Dry Waste Collection & Processing
We collect and process dry waste from more than 30 villages in rural areas, serving thousands of households through reliable door-to-door and community-level segregation.
• Coverage spans multiple blocks, currently impacting over 80,000 population.
• All collection and processing strictly comply with SBM-G guidelines and national waste management regulations.
Plastic Waste Management & Recycling
We specialize in transforming recyclable plastics into valuable resources:
• Industrial-grade shredding, cleaning, baling, and granulation.
• Recycled into high-quality products such as pavement blocks, plastic sheets, lumber substitutes, and other durable materials.
• Current capacity: 15 MT per day, diverting significant waste from landfills and oceans.
Refuse Derived Fuel (RDF) Production & Co-Processing
Non-recyclable fractions convert into Refuse Derived Fuel (RDF) for sustainable energy recovery:
• We have signed a 5-year agreement with Dalmia Bharat Cement (Guwahati unit) to co-process a minimum of 500 MT of RDF monthly.
• This partnership supports alternative fuel use in cement kilns, reducing fossil fuel dependency and promoting a circular economy.
Dry Waste Collection Centers (DWCC) Operations
• Setup, management, and operation of DWCCs for efficient segregation and storage.
• Integration with rural waste networks in compliance with SBM-G standards.
Capacity Building for Waste Pickers
• Training and empowerment programs for informal waste collectors on safe handling and segregation.
• Formal integration into the recycling chain to improve livelihoods.
SBM-G Aligned Infrastructure Support
• Consultation and implementation for rural local bodies.
• Long-term collaboration: We have signed a 5-year agreement with the Mission Director, SBM-G Mizoram, to support waste management infrastructure and sanitation projects across villages and blocks.
Social Impact: Employment & Rural Development
We employ more than 50 local residents from these rural villages, creating sustainable jobs and economic benefits for communities.
• This not only cleans the villages but also empowers local families, improves livelihoods, and fosters community ownership of waste management.
