I am a Senior AI Research Engineer in e-commerce and medical AI Researcher / Visiting Lecturer in MedTech Indonesian Medical Education and Research Institute (IMERI) FK-UI, working on Artificial Intelligence in Medicine and Digital Health.
My AI research interests are in the domain of medical image analysis and AI for creativity (generative media: images/audio/text).
Previously, I was a Research Fellow with Center for Medical Image Computing (CMIC) at University College London (UCL), focusing on machine learning for cancer imaging. I completed a Doctoral degree in Computing Research (machine learning for medical image analysis) at Imperial College London under the supervision of Professor Daniel Rueckert and Professor Ben Glocker.
My research focused on developing methods for domain adaptation, multi-modal learning and analysing whole-body MRI on population level using deep learning. During PhD, my enthusiasm in entrepreneurship rose. That brought me joining Althea Imperial female entrepreneurs programme and came up as grand finalist - with a machine-learning powered hand-held device for breast cancer pre-screening: C-Breast.
I am passionate about community outreach and democratizing AI for Indonesian youth, which led me to create a non-profit platform "Belajar Machine Learning" - an easy bite-size learning in Instagram and YouTube.
I'm constantly striving to learn more about ethics in generative AI (especially for the unique Indonesian culture) and applications of AI in medicine for developing country. Feel free to chat or drop me a message about these topics (generative AI and medical AI).
