I am a PhD candidate and a DST-INSPIRE Fellow at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati, India. I am deeply intrigued by the intersection of medical image analysis, deep learning, and the fascinating world of generative models.

My areas of interest include Medical Image Analysis, Computer Vision, Image Processing, and Deep Learning. Currently, I am a final year PhD student and my thesis is woven around deep learning based solutions to various challenges faced during the detection and pathological interpretations of colorectal cancer. My research is focused on developing innovative algorithms and deep learning techniques for medical image analysis based on GANs, diffusion models, and detection and segmentation methodologies. Within this fascinating exploration, I delve into the intricacies of colonoscopy video frames, investigating their quality and unravelling their impact on clinical outcomes. Beyond quality assessment, my work addresses the challenge of the limited availability of medical data using the concept of generative AI.

Apart from my thesis projects, I have also worked in collaboration with Northwestern University, Chicago, USA, Chubu University, and Aichi Cancer Hospital, Japan. Before joining PhD, I worked as a Senior Research Fellow in a DST project at ICAR-Indian Agricultural Research Institute, New Delhi, India.
