Snap Palette (the "App") provides features to extract color palettes from photos taken by the user or selected from the device gallery.
The App is designed to process only the minimum data required for core features and does not collect personal data on a backend server.

3. Data We Process and Why
The App processes the following data and permissions to provide computing features and improve the service:
- Camera Permission
Purpose: take photos and extract colors
- Photo/Media Permission
Purpose: select images from gallery and save result images
- Local App Settings (stored on device)
Examples: app language, permission confirmation status, camera grid preference
Purpose: preserve user settings and maintain app behavior
- Automatically Collected Device and Usage Information
Purpose: analyze app errors, improve usability (Microsoft Clarity, Firebase Analytics), and serve advertisements (Google AdMob)
Data points: Device identifiers, Advertising IDs, IP addresses, OS version, app interaction events
The App does not require account registration and does not directly collect sensitive personal profile data such as name, email, phone number, postal address, date of birth, contacts, or precise location.
4. How Data Is Handled
- Color extraction is processed locally on the user's device.
- Photos selected/captured by the user and extracted results are not uploaded to our servers.
- Data is shared externally only when the user explicitly uses the share feature and selects another app/service. In that case, the privacy policy of that selected third-party service applies.

6. Retention and Deletion
- Temporary files created during app processing may be deleted during normal app flow or by OS-level cleanup.
- Local settings remain on the device until the user clears app data or uninstalls the app.
- Images saved by the user to the device gallery can be deleted by the user at any time.

Users may, at any time:
- grant or revoke camera/photo permissions in device settings
- opt-out of personalized advertising via their device settings
- clear app data or uninstall the app

8. Children's Privacy
The App is not designed to intentionally collect personal data from children requiring parental consent under applicable law.
9. Security
We apply reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect data handled by the App. However, no method of storage or transmission is completely risk-free.
