Vanexa is designed as a secure, all-in-one utility hub (Calculator, Currency Converter, Unit Converter, Size Guide, and Health Tracker) that prioritizes user privacy.

2.1 Personal Data

We do not require user registration, login, or account creation to use Vanexa. We do not collect, store, or share your personal identification information (such as name, email, phone number, or address) on our servers. You remain completely anonymous while using the app.

2.2 Local Storage

Vanexa stores your preferences (e.g., onboarding status, theme settings) and calculation history strictly locally on your device using Android DataStore. This data never leaves your device and is removed if you uninstall the application or clear the app data.

2.3 Camera and Image Data (Size Guide Feature)

To provide the Size Guide feature, Vanexa requests permission to access your device's Camera or Storage. This feature utilizes Google ML Kit technology to scan size charts from images. All image processing and text extraction (OCR) happen strictly on-device. Your images are NOT uploaded to any external server or cloud storage by us.

3. Third-Party Services

To provide real-time currency exchange rates, Vanexa connects to trusted public third-party APIs (ExchangeRate-API and Frankfurter API). These services are used solely to fetch numeric exchange rate data. They may receive standard technical network requests (such as your IP address) required to fulfill the data request, but we do not transmit any of your personal user data to them.

4. Internet Access

The app requires an internet connection solely to fetch the latest currency exchange rates. All other features (Calculator, Unit Converter, Size Guide, Health Tracker) are fully functional offline.

5. Children's Privacy

Vanexa does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13. The app is safe for general audiences.
