I cannot find the way for autofilling by 1Password on my Android 9 phone. I selected Autofill in 1Password app, but it does not work. I cannot find 1Password icon in Chrome browser on my Android 9 phone. How to install it on the phone?

The full domain helps 1Password to know exactly when to show you logins, though. I would recommend using our browser extension or app to save your logins so that the URLs get saved in them automatically. It's a much easier way to save logins, and that way 1Password is more easily able to fill them.

Thank you.

But the problem is that I cannot save my login in 1Password on my Android phone with 1Password installed.

When I follow the instruction:

"To save a login, sign in to your account on the website. 1Password will ask you to save your username and password. Click Save in 1Password."

the small window "Save in 1Password" does not actually show up.

So I thought that apart from 1Password app installed on my phone I need also Chrome browser extension to be installed on my phone.

I have ticked all 4 boxes in 1Password app:

@mbujar Thanks for getting back to me. If you're using 1Password on a computer as well as your Android device, it's easy to use the browser extension to save your Logins there. The browser extension doesn't work on Android so you won't be able to install it in Chrome and use it there. If you're just using Android, you'll only be prompted to save Logins using Autofill. In Chrome in particular, this requires the latest version of 1Password.

I am trying to set Chrome's HomepageLocation setting value when I deploy to Android via UEM. This setting is not exposed in the Chrome browser profile, so I have been looking at -Workspace-ONE-UEM/services/Android(Legacy)_Platform/GUID-AWT-ANDRO... to set a custom setting.

But when I deploy this and click on the home button of the Chrome browser, I still see the old value. If I go to Settings, I see that this is not updated. EDIT: and if I open chrome://policy, it lists HomepageLocation without a set value.

Uptodown is a multi-platform app store specialized in Android. Our goal is to provide free and open access to a large catalog of apps without restrictions, while providing a legal distribution platform accessible from any browser, and also through its official native app.

If you want to use both vukan and chrome on emulator, just mark vulkan flag as disabled in chrome://flags and re-enable Vulkan on emulator by changing Vulkan value to on or deleting advancedFeatures.ini.

on android make sure you create a device that has playstore option(sign) and uses "Software-GLE 2.0" in Emulated performance:Graphics(might be needed that you actually log in in playstore via emulator to update emulator chrome version)

To make sure you're protected by the latest security updates, Google Chrome can automatically update when a new version of the browser is available on your device. With these updates, you might sometimes notice that your browser looks different.

If you find a solution that is not mentioned in this section or in Chrome DevTools Devices does notdetect device when plugged in, please add an answer to that Stack Overflow question, or open anissue in the developer.chrome.com repository!

In chrome://inspect/#devices on your development machine, you see your Android device's model name, followed byits serial number. Below that, you can see the version of Chrome that's running on the device, with the version number in parentheses.

Each remote Chrome tab gets its own section in chrome://inspect/#devices. You can interact with that tab from this section. If there are any apps using WebView, you see a section for each of those apps, too. In this example, there's only one tab open.

I have had no success in Android 13. I tried updating chrome, including resting to default settings, force close, clear cache etc. Nothing worked. The error message was "not available in this browser. There is an issue with playing this in your browser. You can watch in the Apple TV app". Obviously there is no appleTV app in Android (as of January 2023).

What's more, the flags system has loads of advanced options within it, some of which could potentially cause websites to look weird, Chrome itself to become unstable, or even your ears to start spewing a delightfully minty steam. (Hey, you never know.) So in other words: Proceed with caution, follow my instructions carefully, and don't mess with anything else you encounter in this area of the browser unless you actually understand it and genuinely know what you're doing.

Android's got ample options for increasing text size on a browser-wide basis or even across your entire device, but the reality is that text size isn't always the same from one virtual stomping ground to the next. And on the web in particular, one site's squintily sized text standard might live alongside another site's perfectly fine word size choices.

In fact, El Googaloo's got a whole new look in the works for your Android-based browser bookmarks. And you can fast-track whatever phone you're carrying into that new-and-improved setup by making this quick 'n' easy tweak:

Chrome and other browsers use Safe Browsing to show users a warning message before they visit a dangerous site or download a harmful app. Our scanning infrastructure also protects the Chrome Web Store from potentially harmful extensions. Learn more

Thanks everyone for your help. Actually this option of import, I think was present in the beginning for android because when I searched on Google, all procedure was written & I followed but at the end when I went back to Brave, after taking a backup of the passwords, I found that there was no option of import anymore on Android.

Unfortunate that this option is present for iPhone but not Android devices.

I will say that I have been considering switching away from Chrome/Google for some time and I find it a bit demotivating that, as soon as I make the attempt, I am stymied from completing the swap. I am traveling at the moment without access to my home computer, so I really wish Brave would allow me to import my passwords via my phone browser.

When I search this 'topic' in Google , I get all crap except what I am looking for . They all talk about some laptop browser or Chromecast device ( which I am very familiar ) . I foudn a URL that plays meautiful music and i want to start that in my mobile device using chrome browser and CAST the audio to my next mini speakers ( google Home )

finally i found the answer . I opened an audio URL in Android Chrome browser. then I opened google home and opened my nest mini audio and started CAST TO . working fine ( it asked some questions like screen mirroring etc. )

Google Password Manager stores, serves and synchronizes passkeys on Android andChrome. Passkeys from Google Password Manager are available to all Android apps, including Chrome and other browsers. When the user creates a passkey on anAndroid device it's stored and synchronized with their other Android devices, and their passkey secrets are encrypted end-to-end. This makes passkeysavailable to the user across all Android devices that use Google PasswordManager and are signed in with the same Google Account.

Recently I wanted to do some cleanup. I was on my desktop and wanted to quickly order useful urls into some categories and bookmark for later or throw away at all if not needed anymore. I realised that there is no handy way of exporting all the open tabs from Chrome. On desktop version of Chrome there is a "Bookmark All Tabs" feature when you right-click any of the open tabs in browser, but this does not exist in mobile version.

If there is more than one instance of chrome running on your Android and ./adb forward tcp:9222 localabstract:chrome_devtools_remote shows you the wrong one, you may need to find the process of the other instance like this:

For those of you who have more than one instance of chrome running on your Android and ./adb forward tcp:9222 localabstract:chrome_devtools_remote shows you the wrong one, you may need to find the process of the other instance like this:

First I disabled the undesired chrome app (the one of my work profile, in my case), then,

adb shell "cat /proc/net/unix" (I wasn't able to grep that, because it's binary or something like that, I had to copy the output into a text editor and find "chrome_devtools_remote") in order to find the instance that was named: localabstract:chrome_devtools_remote_31723 in my case.

then:

./adb forward tcp:9222 localabstract:chrome_devtools_remote_31723 worked like a charm.

THANK YOU!! I have wanted to clean this up for a long time, but as you are well aware, when one ends up in this situation, there are no easy options to clean it up. In my case, it got so bad that I could not even open the tab navigation anymore because it would cause Chrome to freeze and eventually crash. I could use the browser just fine (with some delay to initially open the browser), it was just difficult to switch tabs. I could only swipe left or right on the address bar to move to the adjacent tab, being careful not to swipe down because this would open the tab browser and crash. I had no idea how many tabs were open, and I also had no way to close tabs (!) because this can only be done from within the tab browser (or the Chrome Remote API, as I just learned today). As it turns out, I had about 7700 tabs open! Now the URLs are safely stored in an Excel sheet where I can sort/organize/bookmark/etc.

It's best! but I have two spaces in my xiaomi phone and if I debugging first space all were done, but if I'm in second space, desktop chrome writes me error - webpage is not available and something like server is busy...in this second space I like to debugging because I have approximately 20000 tabs opened.. and what I have to do? Maybe I haven't enought buffer? Help!! ff782bc1db
