Position Skills Camp

A great opportunity to work on position specific skills. The morning session will break down every skill needed to be successful in your selected position (setter, libero and attacker). The afternoon session will provide the opportunity to work with other positions and work up to game play. Trudy Vande Berg Volleyball Camps are open to any and all registrants (limited only by number, age/grade, and gender).
Email vandebergcamps@outlook.com to request camp registration forms. A $25 deposit is required to hold a spot. Total cost is $100 and registration must be paid in full one week (July 5) before camp begins. Make checks payable to Trudy Vande Berg and send to PO Box 92, Harford, NY 13784 or Venmo @Trudy-Berg. A full refund, less processing fees, will be issued only for cancellations occurring 2 weeks prior to the start of camp. No refunds will be issued within 2 weeks of the start date.
Partial refunds will not be issued for late arrivals, early departures or injuries limiting play at the camp unless previously discussed with Coach Vande Berg.

July 12-13, 2025
Designed for athletes who are preparing for high school tryouts and for players with aspirations to play at the next level (ages 13-18). Sessions are structured to be intense and competitive, similar to a college practice. Camp will be held in Bartels Gymnasium, 554 Campus Rd. There will be no overnight options offered. Trudy Vande Berg Volleyball Camps are open to any and all registrants (limited only by number, age/grade, and gender).

Meet Coach Vande Berg
Meet Coach Vande Berg
In her ten seasons at the helm, Vande Berg has shaped the Big Red into a team that perennially finishes in the top tier of the Ivy League, finishing third in the conference in four of the past seven seasons (2017, 2018, 2019, 2024). The span of three-consecutive third-place Ivy League finishes marks the best seasons for the Big Red since the team won three conference titles followed by a second-place finish from 2003-06. Cornell has constantly improved in each of the last three years, culminating with its best season since 2006 in 2019. The Big Red finished the 2019 season with a 17-6 overall record, including an 8-4 mark in conference play. The team's 17 wins marked the most since 2006 when the team won 18 matches, and the Big Red went on an 11-match win streak over the middle portion of the season. The last time Cornell stacked that many wins was 2003.
