The VCS Instructional Framework is a structure created to help our educators better navigate the unpacking of standards and the planning-instruction process to enhance student learning and achievement. The framework provides a common a language for all district educators to help facilitate conversation about effective teaching. Five key dimensions complete the cycle of the Instructional Framework. Accessible under each dimension are supporting documents that identify key elements and guiding questions to consider when designing and delivering instruction.
