Below you will find all the information required by Article 13 of the European Regulation on the Protection of Personal Data (Regulation EU 2016/679 – hereinafter, GDPR), regarding the processing of personal data carried out by Vale Tutor through this website.

WHAT ARE PERSONAL DATA? The term "personal data" refers to any information relating to an individual (their characteristics, habits, lifestyle, personal relationships, health status, economic situation, etc.) that allows them to be identified, either alone or in combination with other information (Art. 4, Para. 1, Point 1, GDPR). Personal data that indirectly identifies an individual includes, for example, phone number, tax code, IP address, email, license plate number, credit card details, etc. In addition to so-called "common" personal data (such as those listed above, which may also apply to public and private entities, associations, and companies), there are "special" categories of personal data, also known as "sensitive data," including those related to health, sexual life or orientation, genetic data, biometric data, racial or ethnic origin, religious and philosophical beliefs, political opinions, trade union membership (Art. 9 GDPR). "Judicial" data refers to those that reveal criminal convictions, security measures, or the status of being a defendant or suspect (Art. 10 GDPR). Finally, significant personal data also include those related to electronic communications (via the internet or phone) and data that enable geolocation, providing information about places visited and movements.

WHO PROCESSES MY PERSONAL DATA? The Data Controller is Vale Tutor (hereinafter referred to as “Company” or “Vale Tutor”), located at Viale Ergisto Bezzi 1, Milan. The GDPR defines the Data Controller as "the natural or legal person, public authority, agency or other body which, alone or jointly with others, determines the purposes and means of the processing of personal data." In simpler terms, the controller is the entity that processes the data without receiving instructions from others. It decides "why" and "how" the data should be processed.

WHERE ARE MY DATA STORED? Vale Tutor does not transmit personal data to non-EU countries or international organizations. The data collected are stored on servers located in Italy.

WHAT DATA DOES THE WEBSITE COLLECT? Through the website, Vale Tutor processes the following personal data: a) Browsing data, collected automatically for statistical purposes, including IP addresses, browsing times, geographic data, and other parameters related to the user's operating system and computing environment. b) Data provided voluntarily by the user through forms (such as "Contact" and "Book a Free Lesson"). c) Data collected via cookies and similar technologies. WHAT ARE THE PURPOSES FOR COLLECTING PERSONAL DATA? a) To contact Vale Tutor directly.
When a user contacts Vale Tutor through forms on the site, they consent to the processing of the provided data (name, surname, email, phone number), as well as any other data they choose to share.
The legal basis for this data processing is Art. 6(1)(b) of the GDPR (performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures).

b) To comply with legal obligations under European, national, or regulatory laws, or in response to requests from authorities.

c) For legal defense in court.
Vale Tutor may use personal data in court or in the preparatory stages of legal proceedings.

WHO CAN ACCESS MY DATA? For the purposes listed above, personal data may be shared with:

• Authorized individuals (Art. 29 GDPR), such as those involved in the provision of services.

• Data Processors (Art. 28 GDPR), such as those managing technical maintenance.

• Authorities, as required by law.

HOW LONG WILL MY PERSONAL DATA BE RETAINED? Personal data will be stored for as long as necessary to provide the requested services or as required by law.

HOW ARE DATA PROCESSED AND PROTECTED? Personal data are processed using both manual and electronic methods, ensuring security measures to prevent unauthorized access or data breaches.

MINORS UNDER 18 Vale Tutor's services require users to be at least 18 years old. Any data provided by minors will be immediately deleted.

WHAT ARE MY RIGHTS? Under Articles 15 and following of the GDPR, users have the right to access, rectify, delete, or limit their personal data, as well as object to its processing.
