Short bio:
Jérôme Valette is an economist at CEPII, currently on leave from his associate professor position at University Paris 1 Panthéon Sorbonne. He is also the head of the department DYNAMICS at the French Collaborative Institute on Migration (ICM), a research fellow at the Paris School of Economics International Migration Economics Chair, and a reasearch fellow at IZA. Prior to this, he received his PhD in Economics from the CERDI in 2017. Jérôme is an applied economist with a strong interest in international migration, labor economics and political economy. His current research mainly focuses on the impact of immigration on receiving countries and particularly how it shapes natives' attitudes and political preferences.
