Valerio Bianchi

I am a postdoctoral researcher in Mathematics at Cardiff University, in the Geometry, Algebra, Mathematical Physics and Topology (GAPT) research group.

I previously was a PhD student at Cardiff under the supervision of Ulrich Pennig. Earlier, I got my Master's degree at La Sapienza Università di Roma under the supervision of Domenico Fiorenza.

I am interested in the interplay between homotopy theory and operator algebras. My current research focuses on classifying C*-algebras and group actions on C*-algebras by means of topological invariants.
