Native, Sustainable, and Created for Your Local Ecosystem

Native Roots is an American gardening company established with the vision of introducing more native plant species into mainstream gardening and educating consumers on native plant cultivation. Increasing the number of native plants in gardens enriches the local ecosystem and creates beautiful, valuable landscapes that thrive with little care. For the initial launch of Native Roots, six species of plants are featured, along with two types of seed starter pots. The packaging includes detailed artwork of the chosen plants with an earthy, artistic aesthetic.

Repurposing Seed Packets

One of the main things that separates Native Roots from other gardening supply companies is the seed packet design. These packets are designed to hold seeds in a small pocket while in a retail environment and are reusable as garden tags once purchased. All the consumer has to do is cut off the door that holds the seed pouch. The packages are made of a durable but biodegradable material and will last consumers a growing season before returning to the earth.
