I am an economist at the International Monetary Fund in the European Department.
I received my PhD in mathematics from Oxford University, where my research focused on the intersection of big data, AI and economics. I am an associate member of the Institute for New Economic Thinking, and a recent visiting scholar at MIT and the Santa Fe Institute.Â
My research leverages granular data and AI tools to better understand the world we live in - from the influence that individual investors have on asset prices, to the ties between polarization and macroeconomic variables.
Prior to my PhD, I worked at Palantir and Goldman Sachs.
