Team Banquet

Our team banquet this year will take place at the Oaks Club at Valencia on Tuesday December 10, 2019. We will be continuing our team tradition of Secret Santa and will be picking names soon. There will be more information to come on the banquet such as times and cost.

First Match of the Season

Congrats to our varsity girls for defeating both Granada Hills and Palmdale. Good luck to everyone competing next week.

Parent Meeting 8/21

There is a parent informational meeting in Room 620 at 6:30 on Wednesday August 21st.

Checking In

All athletes on the team must check in everyday with Coach Stiman in the boy's PE locker room office. You can check in at first or second brunch or the beginning of lunch. Coach Waters will also be there to check girls in if need be.

First Practice 8/20

Our first practice will be Tuesday August 20th at 2:30. Don't forget to bring water and sunscreen as the weather is expected to be hot.

Meeting 8/19

We will be having a team meeting on Monday August 19th in room 620 to go over rules. Don't forget to bring in the paperwork that was passed out on 8/16.

Introduction Meeting 8/16

We will be having a mandatory team meeting on Friday in room 620 from 2-3pm.

Tryouts 8/14

Tryouts will be held Wednesday August 14th at Vista Valencia Golf Course at 4:00pm. The team roster will be announced on the Friday after tryouts.

Summer Registration Packets

Don't forget to go pick up your summer registration packets starting July 11th (the exact dates are on the calendar).

Finals

The school year is coming to an end. Good luck to everyone on their finals and don't forget to practice this summer. Can't wait to see everyone in August for the start of school and our 2019 season.

Banquet

Our banquet will take place December 4th at 6:00 pm at Valencia Country Club. The dress is semi-formal (on the picture tab you can see pictures from last year). Players are paid for but parents and family members must pay $25/person. Get the money to coach as soon as possible as the entire payment is due to Valencia Country Club. We will be distributing our Secret Santa Gifts at this time (more information to come on that).

Pictures are Thursday November 15th at 3:30 pm at Vista Valencia. Go pick up order forms from coach's room.

Voting

Don't forget to stop by Coach Minkus's rooms to vote for MVP awards.

As league comes to an end, good luck to those playing JV on Tuesday and Varsity playing in Newhall Cup Tuesday and Wednesday! Lets bring that Foothill League Title back to Valencia!

Optimist Invitational

Congrats to Varsity for getting 3rd place at the Optimist Invitational, held at Debell Golf Course

First League Match Tuesday September 4th

Varsity will be playing El Cariso and JV will be playing Chica. Everyone needs to do a bag check the night before. Good luck to everyone playing. Regular practice for those who are not scheduled to play.

Parent Meeting

We will be having a parent informational meeting on Tuesday August 28 in Coach Minkus's room 106 at 6:30. It is important that all parents come to this as we will discuss per-tenant information regarding the team. If you have any questions about this please leave a message under the Contact Information Tab.

First Varsity Match

Our first match of the season is against Hart and Saugus at Hansen Dam Golf Course on Tuesday August 28.

First Practice

Tuesday August 21 from 2:30-4:00.

Team Meeting Monday 8/20

Team Meeting in Coach Minkus' room 106 at 3 pm. Coach Minkus will have an appointment with the counselors for the new players to change their schedule. The meeting should take about one hour.

Congrats on finishing the school year! Have a great summer but don't forget to practice.
