Information We Collect
Device ID: Collected to uniquely identify, activate, and authenticate the tracking device within the application
Vehicle data including real-time location, speed, engine status, and movement history
Network data required for real-time communication using MQTT and WebSocket
Camera access used only for scanning QR codes to activate tracking devices
Purpose of Device ID Collection
The Device ID is collected solely for app functionality, including:
Linking the physical tracking device to the user account
Activating and managing vehicles via QR code scanning
Ensuring secure communication between the device, server, and mobile application
Preventing unauthorized device access
The Device ID is not used for advertising, analytics, or tracking users across apps.
How We Use Information
To activate and authenticate vehicle tracking devices
To provide real-time vehicle tracking on maps using Open Maps
To display vehicle status such as speed, engine on/off, and movement updates
To ensure reliable and secure communication between devices and servers
Location Data Usage
Location data is collected only for tracking registered vehicles and is displayed on the map in real time. Location data is not shared with third parties and is used strictly for vehicle monitoring requested by the user.
Camera Permission
Camera access is required only to scan QR codes for device activation. Valkonex does not capture, store, or share photos or videos.
Data Security
We use secure communication protocols, including MQTT and WebSocket, to protect data transmission. Appropriate security measures are applied to prevent unauthorized access, loss, or misuse of data.
Data Sharing
Valkonex does not sell, rent, or share Device ID, location data, or vehicle information with third parties, except when required by law or with user consent.
User Control
Users can add, remove, or deactivate tracking devices at any time through the application.
Children’s Privacy
Valkonex is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
