1. About V-Shield
V-Shield is a professional iOS Safari content blocker extension designed to provide users with a cleaner, safer, and more private web browsing experience. The App leverages Apple's Safari Content Blocker technology to perform web content filtering entirely on your device.
2. We Do Not Collect Your Personal Data
The core functionalities of V-Shield (including Ad Blocker, Tracker Blocker, Cookie Blocker, Social Blocker, Annoyance Blocker, and Adult Content Blocker) operate exclusively locally on your device. This means:
No User Accounts: V-Shield does not require you to create a user account.
No Browsing History Collection: We do not collect, store, or analyze your Safari browsing history, websites visited, or any of your activities on the internet.
No Personally Identifiable Information (PII) Collection: We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, IP address, or any other information that could identify you personally.
No Data Uploads: V-Shield does not upload any data about your device or browsing behavior to our servers or any third-party servers. All blocking rules and processing are performed on your iOS device.
3. How We Handle Non-Personal Data
While we do not collect personal data, to ensure the proper functioning, maintenance, and improvement of the App, we may process certain non-personal, non-identifiable data. This data may include:
Device Information: Anonymized device model and operating system version, used solely to ensure app compatibility and optimize performance. This information is not linked to your personal identity.
Crash Logs and Performance Data: In the event of an app crash or performance issue, anonymized crash reports and diagnostic data may be generated by the system. This data is collected by Apple through its standard mechanisms, and we may receive this anonymized, aggregated data to diagnose issues and improve app stability. These reports do not contain any personally identifiable information.
Subscription Status: We access your subscription status information through the Apple App Store to verify your subscription and provide corresponding features. This process is managed by the Apple App Store platform, and we only receive authorization information; we do not store your payment details.
4. How Safari Content Blocking Technology Works and Your Privacy
V-Shield utilizes Apple's Safari Content Blocker framework. The technology functions as follows:

Safari, when loading web content, evaluates these rules locally on your device to determine which content should be blocked or hidden.
Important Note: The V-Shield App itself cannot directly "see" the web content you are browsing. All content blocking decisions are executed by the Safari browser on your device based on the rules provided by V-Shield. This means your browsing data is not exposed to the V-Shield App itself or its developers.
5. Third-Party Services
The V-Shield App does not incorporate third-party analytics tools or advertising SDKs. We may utilize the following third-party services:
Apple App Store: For App download, installation, updates, and subscription management. Your App Store account information and payment data are managed by Apple and are subject to its privacy policies.
Feedback Channel: You may provide us with feedback via email at advertising@forgivecon.com. Any information you provide in feedback emails will be used solely for processing your feedback and providing support, and will not be used for other purposes.
6. Data Security
We are committed to the security of your data. As V-Shield does not collect or store your personally identifiable information, most of your privacy risks are mitigated by the App's design. For any anonymized non-personal data we may process (such as crash reports), we implement reasonable physical, electronic, and managerial measures to protect this information against unauthorized access, use, or disclosure.
