If you want rugged durability, a built-in communication hub, and a device that doubles as a tactical watch for remote work, choose UYRGT Military; if you need ultra-thin comfort, side-sleeping capability, and a soft headband designed specifically for insomnia relief or quiet office naps, choose Fulext Sleep Headphones.
• UYRGT Military: Strength lies in its 2-in-1 smartwatch and earbud design with a rugged, metal-dial aesthetic and 7–15 day battery life; trade-off is the bulky form factor that makes it unsuitable for lying flat on your face.
• Fulext Sleep Headphones: Strength is the ultra-thin, washable fabric headband with Bluetooth 5.4 drivers that are invisible to side sleepers; trade-off is the lack of advanced health tracking features and a shorter single-use playtime compared to the watch's total ecosystem.
• Who each pick is for: The UYRGT suits active professionals who need a standalone audio source during workouts or commutes, while the Fulext is the superior choice for anyone seeking a dedicated solution for sleeping or deep-focus relaxation without ear pressure.
The UYRGT Military Smart Watch is an ambitious piece of hardware that attempts to solve a specific problem for people who are constantly on the move but refuse to carry a separate pair of earbuds. Its core identity is built around the "tactical" aesthetic, featuring a square shape with a metal dial and a 2-inch HD display that stands out from standard fitness trackers. This isn't just a timepiece; it is a self-contained audio station. By integrating two rechargeable lithium-polymer earbuds directly into the watch case, it eliminates the anxiety of losing small buds in a gym bag or pocket. When you aren't wearing the earbuds, they sit safely inside the watch, charging via the magnetic connection, which is a clever design move for outdoor enthusiasts who need gear that can survive sweat, rain, or accidental hand washing thanks to its IP67 waterproof rating.
For someone working remotely, this device offers a unique advantage in mobility. You can answer calls, manage notifications from apps like WhatsApp or Facebook, and control music directly from your wrist without ever touching your phone. The inclusion of a built-in microphone means you can conduct business meetings or take urgent calls while running errands, jogging, or even doing yard work, all while keeping your hands free. The 345mAh battery capacity is substantial, promising up to 15 days of usage on a standard charge, which means you won't be tethered to a charger every night. With a standby time of up to 50 days, this device is built for endurance rather than quick top-ups.

However, this product is not for everyone. The design is inherently bulky due to the housing required for the internal earbuds and the 2-inch screen. If your primary goal is to wear something comfortable while lying in bed, this will feel heavy and awkward against your cheek or pillow. Furthermore, the "smart" features rely heavily on the Da Fit app for configuration, meaning you must have a compatible smartphone (iOS 9.0+ or Android 5.5+) to unlock its full potential. While it tracks heart rate, steps, and sleep, it lacks GPS geotagging functionality, so it cannot map your runs independently. It is best suited for individuals who view their wrist as a command center and prioritize durability and connectivity over minimalist aesthetics.
The Fulext Sleep Headphones take a completely different approach, prioritizing pure comfort and acoustic isolation over complex smart features. This is not a gadget with a screen or a suite of sensors; it is a specialized tool designed for one thing: delivering high-quality audio without the pain points of traditional headphones. The innovation here is the use of ultra-thin HD speakers embedded within a soft, breathable fabric headband. These 40mm drivers are flat enough that they do not press into the ear canal, making them genuinely viable for side sleepers who usually find standard earbuds painful after an hour of rest. Whether you are trying to fall asleep faster, need white noise to block out a snoring partner, or simply want to listen to a podcast while traveling on a plane, this headband sits flush against your head without creating pressure points.
The material science behind this product is where it truly shines for daily use. Constructed from hypoallergenic, moisture-wicking fabric, it feels more like a yoga headband than a piece of electronics. This makes it ideal for hot sleepers or those who exercise before bed, as the sweatproof design prevents discomfort. A significant practical benefit is that the entire unit is machine washable, provided you remove the stereo speaker component first. This level of hygiene is impossible to achieve with hard-plastic earbuds or even many fabric bands that trap bacteria. The Bluetooth 5.4 technology ensures a stable, instant connection to your devices, supporting seamless switching between phones, tablets, and laptops.
This product is the definitive choice for anyone struggling with insomnia or needing a distraction-free environment for meditation. Unlike the UYRGT, which demands attention to its interface and battery management, the Fulext is passive and simple. You put it on, press play, and it fades into the background. The 14-hour continuous playtime is perfectly matched to the needs of a sleeper or a long-haul traveler, ensuring you never wake up to silence in the middle of the night. However, it lacks the versatility of a smartwatch; it does not track your health metrics, it has no screen, and it does not function as a standalone call center away from your phone. It is a single-purpose tool executed with exceptional care for comfort, making it the best true wireless earbuds alternative for remote workers who need to disconnect and focus, or for parents who need to monitor a baby or relax without disturbing others with sound leakage.
• Best for battery longevity → UYRGT Military, offering 7–15 days of operation versus the Fulext's 14 hours of continuous playback per charge.
• Best for side sleeping → Fulext Sleep Headphones, as the ultra-thin flat speakers prevent ear pain, whereas the UYRGT watch case is too thick and rigid for this use case.
• Best for active outdoor sports → UYRGT Military, with its rugged metal dial, IP67 waterproof rating, and secure fit that resists sweat and rain better than the fabric band.
• Best for hygiene and maintenance → Fulext Sleep Headphones, because the fabric headband is machine washable, unlike the electronic components of the watch.
• Best for hands-free calling on the go → UYRGT Military, allowing you to answer calls without holding a phone while running or cycling, though the Fulext also supports calls via its built-in mic.
• Best for feature density → UYRGT Military, which includes step counting, heart rate monitoring, weather forecasts, and camera control in addition to audio.
• Best for travel comfort → Fulext Sleep Headphones, combining the functions of a sleep mask and headphones into a lightweight package that blocks light and delivers audio.
• Best for remote work focus → UYRGT Military provides a constant companion for communication, but Fulext is superior for blocking distractions during deep work sessions due to its immersive, non-intrusive design.
In my opinion, I would choose the Fulext Sleep Headphones if my primary goal was to improve my sleep quality or find a way to focus deeply during a busy workday without physical discomfort. The ability to lie on my side without pain and the option to wash the band make it a superior daily driver for relaxation and recovery. However, if I needed a device that could replace my earbuds entirely and keep me connected during intense physical activity, the UYRGT Military would be my pick for its robust build and impressive battery life. Ultimately, for remote work scenarios where the line between work and rest blurs, the Fulext offers the mental clarity and physical ease that leads to better productivity, while the UYRGT serves as a powerful, albeit bulky, utility belt for the active professional.
The Fulext Sleep Headphones are specifically engineered for side sleepers with ultra-thin speakers that won't cause pain, whereas the UYRGT Military watch is too bulky and rigid to be worn comfortably while lying down.
The UYRGT Military offers a much longer overall usage window of 7 to 15 days on a single charge, while the Fulext provides 14 hours of continuous playback before requiring a 1-to-2-hour recharge.
Yes, the Fulext Sleep Headphones are made of sweatproof, hypoallergenic fabric that is machine washable (after removing the electronics), a feature the UYRGT Military smartwatch does not offer.
Both the UYRGT Military and the Fulext Sleep Headphones require a paired smartphone to handle calls and voice commands, as neither device has independent cellular capabilities or standalone processing power.
