This policy explains what information UUP Pro ("the App") handles. In short: the training data you create stays on your device, and the only information sent off your device is a limited set of advertising-attribution data collected by the Adjust SDK — and only if you allow tracking.
1. Who We Are
UUP Pro is a personal training-load tracker for iPhone. For any questions about this policy, contact us at wg665@outlook.com.
2. Data You Create — Stored on Your Device Only
When you use the App you create content such as training sessions (sport type, duration, perceived exertion, notes), daily wellness check-ins (sleep, energy, fatigue, soreness, stress), your custom sport types, and your reminder preferences. All of this is stored locally on your device. It is not transmitted to us, is not uploaded to any server by the App, and is not shared with the Adjust SDK or any other third party. We have no account system and cannot see your training data.
3. Information Collected for Advertising Attribution (Adjust)
The App uses the Adjust SDK (provided by Adjust GmbH) to measure the performance of our marketing campaigns and to attribute app installs — that is, to understand which advertisement led you to download the App. For this purpose, Adjust may collect device and advertising identifiers, including the Apple Advertising Identifier (IDFA) when you permit tracking (see Section 4), as well as Adjust's own device identifiers. Adjust may also collect limited usage data such as app installs and app-open events, together with technical information like device model, operating-system version, and IP address (used to derive approximate, country-level location and to prevent fraud). This information is processed by Adjust on our behalf and may be matched with data from advertising networks to attribute installs. We do not use it to identify you personally, and your training data is never included. Adjust's privacy policy is available at https://www.adjust.com/terms/privacy-policy/.
4. App Tracking Transparency — Your Choice
When you first open the App, iOS shows the App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt asking whether you allow tracking. If you choose "Ask App Not to Track," the App does not access the IDFA, and attribution is limited to privacy-preserving, non-identifying data. If you allow tracking, the IDFA may be used for the attribution described above. You can change this choice at any time in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.
5. Notifications
If you turn on the optional Daily Reminder, the App schedules a local notification on your device at the time you choose. These notifications are generated on your device and are not sent through any server. You can turn them off at any time in the App or in iOS Settings.
6. Exporting and Deleting Your Data
You can export all of your on-device data as a JSON file at any time from Settings > Data & Backup > Export Data. You can permanently erase all of your data from Settings > Data & Backup > Clear All Data, or by deleting the App.
7. Children's Privacy
UUP Pro is intended for general audiences and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
8. Health and Medical Disclaimer
UUP Pro is provided for general fitness and educational purposes only. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition. The metrics it shows (such as session load, ACWR, monotony, and strain) are informational estimates based on published sport-science methods and should not replace professional advice. Always consult a qualified professional before making training or health decisions.
9. Third-Party Services
The App uses Adjust for advertising attribution, as described in Section 3. When you open this privacy policy or other links, they load in your browser; when you tap "Send Feedback," the system Mail interface opens. The policies of those services apply when you leave the App.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
