Description
The aim of the project is to investigate two fundamental research questions:
(1) What privacy and safety needs do BLV people have when interacting with GenAI tools and how do they navigate existing threats?
(2) How can we design safe and trustworthy GenAI for BLV people?
The responsibilities will include conducting literature review, preparing interview protocols, conducting interviews, analyzing interview data, and prepare results.

Eligibility & Requirements
Required coursework/skills/experience: There are no specific prerequisite courses required.
Recommended coursework/skills/experience: It would be beneficial if students have experience with qualitative and/or quantitative research methods and proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills would also be highly desirable.
