The objective of the CONNECT Summer Undergraduate Research Experience (URE) is to provide students a multi-disciplinary environment to learn the science, the politics & policies, as well as the technology enabling advancements in nuclear security. Applicants to this posting will work within the UTSA Vision & Artificial Intelligence Lab to develop computer vision models to analyze data from physics & engineering labs at UTSA.
Start Date: May 29, 2024 - July 28, 2024
# Hours per week: 40
Paid or Credit: paid
Location: UTSA Main Campus, Vision & AI Lab (NPB 2.210) and events in AET/BSB

Eligibility & Requirements
Required coursework/skills/experience: undergraduate UTSA CS majors with experience using Python for data science
Recommended coursework/skills/experience: CS juniors & seniors with machine learning and/or computer vision experience
U.S. citizenship required?: U.S. persons
Commitment length: full time summer experience
