Pre-Dental Society at UT Arlington

Pre-Dental Society is a student-run organization at the University of Texas at Arlington. We provide resources to educate members about the field of dentistry and guide students during the dental school application process. Pre-Dental Society provides opportunities to interact with peers who share the same goals and interests. Membership provides access to guest speakers, dental school tours, social events, shadowing programs with local dentists, and community service opportunities.

There are many compelling reasons to choose dentistry as a career. Dentistry is a profession where you can make an immediate difference in someone's life every day. You prevent and treat oral diseases, relieve pain, and restore function. The field also offers broad flexibility, allowing you to own your own practice or specialize in the areas that interest you most. If you are detail-oriented, skilled with your hands, eager to learn, and above all empathetic and patient, then dentistry may be the right fit for you!
