The first part of the year has flown by and now we are in the final months before Year-End Convention in Duluth. Our membership has grown but at the same time we have lost members who will never be forgotten. Now we are looking ahead to finish to year strong. I enjoy meeting members across America and looking forward to hearing from more of you with articles published, Shout Out with Participation forms and even at Year-End!
I will be letting you know about our Buckets of Sunshine at Year-End and National Volunteer Week is April 17-23 soon. Check out the Slogan Contest on Facebook too!
Make plans now to promote the local chapters or the states to gain more members. Please let me know and if you would like any help in any way possible from making a trip to your Chapter to planning a Zoom meeting.
If you have not published an article or press release in your local newspaper, please contact me and I can help get the recognition you deserve for your service to your community or state.
The Marketing Committee is working hard to make this year successful so watch the Facebook pages to keep updated!

Hi Ladies! I am Jennifer Lantz from Nashua, Iowa and I will be your Public Relations Director this year. I am honored and ready to start getting the word out about what a great organization Women of Today is and how people can join and even start a new chapter in their area.
I am the Director for the Foster Grandparent Program and serve Cerro Gordo, Chickasaw, Floyd and Mitchell counties in Iowa. I promote the program and recruit Foster Grandparents to volunteer at schools, daycare centers, preschools, and Head Starts in the area. Before becoming the Director I was a newspaper reporter for the Nashua Reporter, our local paper and covered many Nashua Women of Today events throughout my six years.
I have two children, my daughter Samantha, who many of you met in Des Moines, is newly married and approaching her first year anniversity this fall and works as a paraeducator for her local school district. My son, Tyler is a student at Iowa State University - Go Cyclones! - and plans on graduating next spring with a degree in Genetics.
As many know Founder's Day is right around the corner on July 1st and this year I want pictures of local chapters celebrating. Send pictures to me at email@example.com or post them on our Facebook page and let me know what you are doing! Don't forget to get those certification papers turned in for this also.
I would like to get the word out in your local newspapers so please send me the contact information, name of your local newspaper and editor's name if you know it. The more we can get covered in your local papers, the more people will be talking about the Women of Today which leads to more memberships! If anyone would like to talk to me about writing articles , please get a hold of me since I am willing to write articles or help you write an article for your local newspaper or even for a Facebook post!
We will be Rocking it in the U.S. this year!
