A few UPDATES: (REVISED 15 June)
original seabag list says khaki shorts OR pants; we are now required to bring BOTH
we have provided a clear rain poncho for each personnel
ID cards: ALL personell are required to carry Sea Cadet IDs
18 + years old: you must bring a valid drivers license REAL ID or passport for entrance to US Naval Academy
To reduce packed gear, you may wear your sweat pants and a t shirt on travel day (car and airline)
Sleeping bag not needed...bring sheets and pillow. You will be in barracks for 4 nights and must provide your own bedding
Spending money: keep in mind that many places do not accept cash anymore (due to COVID concerns). You may consider a pre-paid credit card or check with your bank regarding a 'teen debit card' which can be linked to your account. In any case, do bring some cash
Watches are ok but Apple Watches are considered contraband
You are required to have an instrument cover to help prevent the spread of droplets
Because of restrictions of wearing NWUs in WAS DC, you will wear the 'alternate uniform' which is khaki pants/shorts, issued training t shirt and issued ballcap.
Shorts and sweat pants do not have to have NSCC logo, plain black or Navy blue is good
