This is probably the large news drop that we have been waiting for in mid-December. The USFL Announced on Twitter and Instagram that they have reached a media deal with NBC and their streaming platforms.
"📺 It's official!
NBC will join FOX Sports as our official broadcast partners.
The networks will present all 43 regular and postseason games beginning in April 2022."

This is big news, because this means that FOX will air 12 games, NBC will broadcast 8 of them, FS1 will have 10, USA will have 9 and Peacock (which is NBC's streaming service) will have 4 games. I think that it is a great idea to have games both on cable television and on streaming platforms; this brings the league great publicity for both television markets, and because most cable networks own their own streaming networks, the USFL basically gets a package deal with NBC and Peacock combined.
This could mean many things for the USFL in 2022, but the primary thing is that the league appears to be 100% set and ready for the inaugural season of the new USFL. They have a bunch of publicity with TV deals with NBC and FOX, being owned by FOX Sports and experienced former The Spring League CEO Brian Woods definetly helps, and they have a lot of funding, since they got that $150 million dollars from FOX Sports to help run and maintain the league.
