USFL Fans have been inquiring, and frankly a little worried about player acquisition lately. The lack of news that FOX Sports and the USFL have provided about what is arguably the most important part of a new spring league is startling. However, this could change.
I think this is good news because it describes why we haven't gotten any news on the USFL draft or combine/showcase event, because most of the players are already there. The 2022 Spring League Mega Bowl champions, the Linemen, along with their air-raid style head coach Hal Mumme could transfer to their own team in the USFL. It isn't just Mumme however, as other coaches would likely be given the opportunity to transfer the remaining players on their TSL roster that aren't in the NFL/CFL yet.
I am excited to see if the USFL does a draft for the players that aren't from The Spring League, or if they will just sign them and announce the player signings. Personally, I'd love to see an XFL-style draft televised on Peacock for the USFL. What do you think, however? Let us know in our discord server!
