There are many things that I want from the USFL in terms of news drops, players, jerseys, stadiums and more.
Probably the number 1 thing that I want now is a jersey reveal. A set of big news is rumored to drop before the end of December, and another set of big news soon after New Years. I have already mentioned that I want color-rush style jerseys for the Philadelphia Stars, due to their logo and team color scheme, color rush jerseys with red, orange, and yellow would look fantastic together in my opinion.
The second highest on my USFL wishlist is actually for the 2023 season, which is a season where hopefully every team gets it's own stadium. A central bubble/hub is a fantastic idea that keeps costs down for season 1, but if the USFL makes it to season 2 which I think it should, they should have by then saved up enough dough to rent out 8 different stadiums for the 43-46 games played in a USFL season. Some stadiums that I think would fit USFL teams would be Rice Stadium in Houston for the Gamblers. The Spring Leagues southern hub was at this stadium, and TSL CEO Brian Woods has experience with this stadium, so I believe the USFL could play here too. The New Jersey Generals could play at Red Bull Arena, a primarily-soccer stadium in NJ with a seating capacity of 25k. Lastly, the Pittsburgh Maulers should play at Heinz Field in Pittsburgh, PA.
The third and final thing on my USFL wishlist is a team in Chicago, IL. It would be another midwestern team, but the main reason I'd want a team here is because I live here. There is a perfectly-sized USFL stadium here too, that being SeatGeek Stadium, the old home of the MLS's Chicago Fire FC, with a seating capacity of 20k. More importantly than that however would be teams in both St. Louis and San Antonio. We all know how incredibly well the XFL's St. Louis Battlehawks did, they were the only XFL team that had the entire stadium (or dome) open and not just selling tickets for a portion of the stadium. Same with the AAF's San Antonio Commanders, gaining a rather large following because Texas loves football, and San Antonio is a large city in Texas that doesn't have a professional football team, so it is natural for the fans to come flooding into games.
