2009 CORN FESTIVAL INFORMATION

The U.S. Department of Agriculture is looking forward to hosting many individuals for the annual "Sweet Corn Festival" tomorrow. We have a lot of important information regarding this event, please read through the entire page to ensure there is no confusion. Additionaly, there is a guide at the bottom of this page for your convenience.

ABOUT THE FESTIVAL

The Corn Festival has become an eagerly anticipated tradition in our community, celebrating the rich agricultural heritage that Iowa is renowned for. As a key member of our community, we believe your presence at this event would be invaluable and greatly appreciated.

SECTION 1: SECURTITY INFORMATION

Please understand that we have many high level goverment officials, individuals from congress, and members of the first family attending this event. For this reason, there will be very tight security. At each meet and greet location, there will be a security check.

SECTION 2: MEET & GREETS

We look forward to hosting members of the First Family, cabinet members, and members of congress tomorrow for there meet and greets. Please understand that each individual will be available only for a designated amount of time. They will share that information on there social media pages.

SECTION 3: EVENT TIMES

The event will start at 7:00PM EST, and will end at 9:00PM EST tomorrow. We will allow early arrival, but please keep in mind that you will not be allowed in early. For closing times, we will immediately escort anyone still on premises out.
