Day 23:

• Are plants living? How do you know? Read and answer the guided questions about plants.

Day 24:

• How do we plant brassica seeds? Read about the planting procedure and light and water requirements. Then, answer the focus question based on what you have read.

Day 25:

• Review what you have learned about plants so far. Complete the vocabulary review using the word bank provided

Day 26:

• What do young plants need to grow? Discuss observations, draw pictures, and answer guiding questions.

Day 27:

• What do you think leaves do for the plant? Observe the brassica plant pictures and answer the guided questions.

Day 28:

• What do you suppose flowers do for the plant? Observe and discuss how the plant is changing and answer the guiding questions.

Day 29:

• How does a young plant change as it grows? Write or draw a picture showing how a young plant changes and grows over time.

Day 30:

• What do you think will happen to the flowers on the plant? Read about flowers turning into seed pods. Answer and discuss the fruit and seed pod questions. Also review key vocabulary.

Day 31:

• Parts of the Brassica Plant and the Brassica Plant Life Cycle.
