2022 Model

The 2022 batch of kits is completely allocated to research participants. Please contact Dr. Brown (brownreb@uri.edu) if you are interested in future opportunities.

We packed all the kits the week of June 6 and have been shipping out kits (FedEx Ground) as we receive your checks/POs.

Supplemental information is broken out into these pages (click the title; theme is a bit subtle):

🛠 Assembly

  • PDF copy of the Assembly Guide

  • Assembly videos from start to finish

  • PDFs of the Operating Manual and Quick Start guide (new for July!)

  • Videos demonstrating the operation of the scarecrow

  • Recordings of some of the sounds the scarecrow makes to let you know its status

😕 Troubleshooting

  • An incomplete (I'm sure) list of problems that have been encountered and possible approaches to investigation and (hopefully) fixing it.

Please contact David Brown (david_h_brown@uri.edu) if you have questions!
