During two days, learners will be engaged in full scale simulation with side by side session: left side with physical solution and right side with virtual solution.

• Each Emergency medical Team present at the congress is engaged in three full scale scenarii: two with physical solution and one with distencial solution.

Teams will give “points of life” to the patient with technical and non technical skills. The two teams with the higer score will have a place for the final physical scenario.

The “David WILLIAMS Sim’Cup 2025" winner will be the team with the higher score after the final scenario.

12 minutes of full scale simulation and 20 minutes of debriefing (like previous Sim’Cup)

DISTENCIAL SOLUTION

From their professional site, the learners team connects a computer to the e-Sim’Challenge website. 

This connection must be made with a recent web browser and a stable data flow.

Each learner will then be able to send orders to his "avatar" thanks 

to his smartphone.

You will be a "remote" team with your smartphone. You will manage our manikin and send orders in real time to your "avatar".

Exactly ! We will be your "avatar" in Berlin, in David WILLIAMS Sim'Cup area with a manikin. All the e-Sim'Cup Staff !

We will be able to exectute all your orders helping by an internet solution.

Our staff is already imaging madness scenarii …

The competing teams will have to deal with various emergency clinical situations including adult and/or pediatric scenarii, and trauma. Standard ED Resus Room or ambulance material will be provided and will be used by your "avatar".

Independent judges will evaluate the teams’ performances across your "avatar". The winning team is the one that achieves the highest scores.

Presential training.

• Learners: professionnels working in Emergency Department as paramedics - nurses - juniors & physicians

• Prerequisites: pluriprofessional teams

• Number of learners: 10 teams with max 4 professionals per team.

• Pretest: each learner must full the pretest before to start the Sim'Cup (not available at this time).

•      All teams should be as much as possible pluridisciplinary and include paramedics, nurses,
      students and physicians (usually 3-4 members).

• All team members must be registered to the conference in order to compete.

• Time allocated to each scenario will be variable according to the numbers of team registered. It begins once the team members approach the patient.

• Positive points will be used for the evaluation of the scenarios

• Treat all scenarios as real !

• We stress the importance of multidisciplinary teams including junior doctor or residents.

• Individual validation: validation focuses on the individual contractualization of performance objectives (items acquired/in progress/not acquired).

  • Technical skills: CARE and TREATMENT items from the PRISM grid.

  • Soft skills: CRM and TEAMS SCORE items acquired/in progress/not acquired.

• Team validation: Use of the PRISM grid with an average score > 60%.
