Korean Rural Planning Competition, which is a part of Korean Rural Space Competition, is hosted by Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs of Korea (MAFRA) with Korea Rural Community Corporation (KRC), and Korean Society of Rural Planning; and funded by Rural Development Administration of Korea (RDA). This competition is a high admonition in the perspective from urban studies and rural planning in Korea.

The main goal of this competition is to propose planning concepts considering economic, social, and environmental sustainability and plan a rural space with maintaining its identity. We chose Gyeom-myeon, Gokseong-gun as a site, went on a field trip, and prepared planning panel on July to August. We received the 2nd prize in the name of the president of KRC.
