The Korea Planners Association (KPA) is a member organization of The Korean Federation of Science and Technology (KOFST) and plays a similar role to the American Planning Association in Korea. KPA's mission is to represent the field of urban planning in Korea, support the development of expertise in urban planning, and provide a community for urban planners.

The KPA Scholarship Award is a merit-based scholarship and the most prestigious award for students majoring in urban planning. KPA selected only one recipient annually. I was selected as a recipient of the 19th KPA Scholarship Award, which was received to me by Prof. Hyunsoo Kim, the president of KPA, in 2021.
