Uptown Action

Uptown Action is picking up trash in and around Uptown. We meet the first Saturday of every month at various locations to pick up trash for an hour and socialize for some time after. This is a great way to have direct impact in your community while also getting to know your neighbors and make friends.

We have wrapped up our last trash pick up of the year for 2024! To celebrate, come join us at our year end social at Uptown Taproom on October 24th! Please RSVP below.

Event Schedule

10:00 AM

Meet up at RSVP'd location

We will go around with introductions, divvy out equipment and routes, and go pick up trash! Be sure to arrive on time or a bit early. We usually head out within 10 minutes of the meet up time. If you have your own equipment (bags, gloves, grabbers) feel free to bring them along!

11:15 AM

Reconvene and Socialize!

We'll meet back up at the above locations to drop off full bags of trash, take pictures of our trash bounty and head to Uptown Library for a cup of coffee and cookies. If you have your own mug, bring it along so we can reduce waste!
