The second full-length album, Chicken Willie, was released in August 2016. It reached No. 22 on Billboard's Top Country Albums and No. 11 on the Rap Albums charts, selling 2,800 copies in the first week.[4] In 2017, Upchurch released another EP titled Summer Love, which is completely country-oriented, with no elements of rap music; and another studio album titled Son of the South. Summer Love, debuted at No. 33 in the Top Country Albums chart with 3,700 copies sold, while Son of the South debuted at No. 29 with 48,100 copies sold.[5]

Betty Upchurch is one of Ashe County's most popular pianists, and has performed across the High Country for weddings, churches, receptions, parties and more. Betty enjoys creating her own arrangements and has participated in Tickling the Ivories, Coffee House Live, Joyous Sounds, and has provided music for Best of the Best for several years. Her second CD "Play Me a Tune" was released last year.

Born and educated in Britain Liz is a graduate prize-winning soloist of the Royal Academy of Music where she studied with Roger Vignoles. For many years she worked with young artists at the Britten-Pears School in Aldeburgh where she played for masterclasses with artists such as Anthony Rolfe Johnson, Suzanne Danco, William Pleeth and Dame Joan Sutherland. Upchurch has also worked at the Kammeroper Schloss Rheinsberg festival in Germany and the National Theatre in London. She held a faculty position in the 20th-century Opera and Song program at the Banff Centre for the Arts and was repetiteur and chorus director at Edmonton Opera. She has taught at the University of Toronto and for the COSI summer program in Italy. She has performed and broadcast chamber music and song recitals extensively throughout Europe and North America as well as working at opera houses such as the Glyndebourne Festival.
