Postgraduate Seminars
About
A series of postgraduate (PG) seminars is designed by Dr Xinfeng Ruan (Chair of Postgraduate Committee) for all PhD and Master students at the Department of Accountancy and Finance, University of Otago. PG seminars aim to provide department-level training on researcher development, PhD planning, career development, and any postgraduate-related issues, complementing the supervisors' academic supervision, Postgraduate Professional and Researcher Development launched by Graduate Research School (GRS), and Student Learning Development for postgraduate students organized by Higher Education Development Centre (HEDC). PG seminars also aim to provide a sharing and communication platform for all postgraduate students, such as sharing their success of publications and rising their difficulties of doing their research.
